Struga, Sileks, Rabotnichki and Shkëndija 77 are the teams that, after today’s matches, secured a place in the quarterfinals of the Macedonian Cup.

Struga easily defeated the Lions in the middle of their Gjorche Petrov neighborhood and celebrated their place in the next phase with a comfortable 5:0 win.
Sileks managed to win a tough away game against Bashkimi in Kumanovo and continued their way to the Cup. It’s no secret that the Kratovo based team is attacking the trophy.
It was interesting in the Skopje neighborhood of Singjelikj, where the Shkendija 77 team from nearby village of Arachinovo usually plays its home maches. Today, the first league side Pelister was the guest, who said goodbye to the Cup after losing by a lone goal.
The most uncertain was in Avtokomanda, where Rabotnichki hosted second-league side Bregalnica from Shtip. The”Romantics took the lead with a penalty goal, and then in the 42nd minute the referees did not award them a goal after it seemed that the ball had crossed the goal line. However, VAR is not used in the Cup. Shortly after the break, the Blues equalized, but then missed twice in the penalty shootout, as goalkeeper Vasko Vasilev was the home hero.
Last month the first two matches of this round took place in which second league sides Ohrid Lychnidos and Detonit Plachkovica booked their places in the quarterfinals.
Holders Vardar hosted Novaci on Wednesday and recorded a 3:1 win.
The last quarterfinalist will be known in mid November when Shkëndija will match Tikvesh. This tie was moved due to Shkëndija’s tight schedule as they also play in the UEFA Conference League.
