The two second division sides Ohrid Lychnidos and Shkëndija 77 failed to make the final push so the 2026 Macedonian Cup final will be fought between former winners Sileks and Shkëndija.
Ohrid Lychnidos travelled to Kratovo with a 1:1 result from the first leg but failed to deliver on the Road. Dodev’s penalty goal in the 35th minute gave Sileks the needed advantage and the visitors did not manage to find an equalizer. The penalty came after a VAR review of a foul play by Albnor Kaba on Adi Alić. Ten minutes earlier Sileks had another penalty, but keeper Damjan Serafimov saved the shot of Alić. For that penalty Naumche Bakracheski stepped on Dodev.
Shkëndija 77 hosted top flight holders Shkëndija in Kumanovo because at their stadium in Skopje can’t be used the VAR system. The visitors from Tetovo came with a 3:2 advantage and never put in question their place in the final. They by far the better side and thanks to the good home defending the goals came in the last minutes.
