The list does not include the experienced Natasha Andonova, Gentjana Rochi, Lenche Andreevska, Ana Milchevska, Marjana Naceva, Ikmete Limani as well as goalkeeper Berna Kabakci.

“Of course, we must admit that in the past years, even decades, we have not had significant results. But, with the right approach and work, I believe that we can build a team that will be competitive and that will bring better results for Macedonia,” Andov added.

The first match will be played on October 24 (Friday) at 15:00 CET, and the second on Monday also at 15:00 CET. Both matches will be played at the Blagoj Istatov Stadium.

Russia will also travel to Strumica with its U19 national team, which will also play two control matches against their Macedonian counterparts. The games will be played on the same days, but from 12:00 CET and 13:00 CET at the Goran Pandev Training Center.
