Shkendija defeated Horizont Turnovo 2:0 to conclude the 12th round of the Macedonian top division.

The first half started with Shkendija controlling play and creating several quality chances but the Horizont Turnovo keeper was alert and made the necessary.  As the game went on, the visitors from Turnovo gained confidence and started playing better but the scored was 0:0 going into halftime.  The best chance for Horizont Turnovo was created by former Mainz player Dragan Gjorgiev.

In the second half, a minute didn’t pass before Shkendija scored the opening goal.  Midfielder Izair Emini scored a nice goal with a well placed shot past the opposing keeper.  That relaxed the home side and they went on to add one more goal in the 67th minute through striker Mensur Kurtisi.

Shkendija remained in third place with 24 points while Horizont Turnovo is second from bottom on the table with only 9 points after twelve rounds in the Macedonian top division.
