Shkendija fined 25,000 euros

UEFA has fined Shkendija 25,000 euros for the poor organization during the match against Partizan in Champions League qualifying.

The poor organization by Shkendija during the return leg of the second round of the Champions League qualifications against Partizan has led to a fine of 25,000 euros by UEFA.  The provocative and insulting banners to go along with objects being thrown on the field led to the fine.

UEFA delegate during the game, Austrian Christian Schmölzer, determined the fine after collecting all the evidence and video data from the match that was played in Skopje.  Both games against Partizan were deemed high risk by UEFA and each game was played without fans from the visiting team.

Shkendija has announced that they will appeal the decision by UEFA.
