Sedat Berisha and Carlinho Rech, both central defenders, were signed by Shkendija to give them more depth.

Shkendija was pretty thin at defense, so they were looking for reinforcements. On Monday, they brought in two central defenders in Sedat Berisha and Carlinho Rech.

Berisha returns to Shkendija after he was let go by Bursaspor this past weekend. He had moved to Turkey from Shkendija, so this is a reunion for him. Shkendija gets to keep the transfer fee that Bursaspor paid, and now they bring back Berisha on a free transfer. Sedat signed a 1-year deal with an option for one more year.

The second player that was added is Carlinho Rech. He was on trial and did enough to be offered a contract. He signed for 6 months with the option to extend the agreement for an additional two years.

Abdelaye Diakité, another defender that was on trial, will not be signed by Shkendija.
