The 21st round in the Macedonian Second League took place on Saturday and the top two teams, Sileks and Teteks, each notched home victories.
The game between Skopje and Rufeja never saw its end as the visiting team decided to abandon the match around the 78th minute due to insulting chants by the Skopje fans. Keeping in mind FFM’s previous decisions regarding similar incidents, the teams that abandoned games have been penalized by the federation each time. So, Rufeja might see a similar faith depending on what the Skopje fans really did to cause the abandonment of the match. FFM will examine the referee’s match report and then make a final decision.
In the other seven games of the round, six home teams notched 3 points, while the only draw occurred in the Borec vs. 11 Oktomvri match that finished 1:1. Sileks and Teteks continue to entrench themselves as the top two teams as each team added three more points with victories over Madjari Solidarnost and Novaci, respectively. The other home teams to triumph in this round included Drita, Zajazi, Shkupi and Pobeda Junior.
