Second League – Round 19

Table leaders Sileks beat Vrapchishte 3:1 at home to continue their winning ways as they have won six consecutive games. A brace by Nikolcho Gjorgiev and one goal by Aleksandar Panovski proved enough for Sileks to cruise to three more points. Five minutes before the end of regulation, the visitors managed to score a consolation goal.

Second placed Teteks had no problems with Tiverija at home as they won by three goals. Striker Filip Petkovski opened the score early in the 3rd minute, then added his second goal in the 76th minute, while Dragan Nachevski completed the scoreline with a late goal in the 88th minute.

The Derby of Prilep between Pobeda Junior and 11 Oktomvri ended in a 2:1 win for the former. A very important three points for Pobeda Junior who is struggling to avoid relegation, while 11 Oktomvri close to being mathematically relegated.

In front of empty stands at the Chair stadium in Skopje, Shkupi still triumphed in a 3:1 win over Miravci. As a reminder, the home team was handed a 6 match ban for incidents in a Round 16 match.

Meanwhile, an incident also occurred in this round when the players of Skopje were attacked in their road game against Zajazi in the village of Zajas. According to, fans of the home team punched and kicked Skopje players to the point where three of them couldn’t start the game. It still isn’t clear why the match officials allowed the game to take place after such incidents. Zajazi won the game 1:0, but it is expected that FFM will react and likely award an automatic 3:0 victory to the visitors.

In the remaining games, Drita and Madjari Solidarnost celebrated minimal wins over Rufeja and Novaci, respectively, by scoring their goals in the second half. Furthermore, the game between the two bottom placed teams, Borec and Lokomotiva, ended in a 3:0 win for the visitors, but they still remain in last place despite the three points.
