Saturday’s internationals performances

Busy Saturday for the Macedonian internationals. While Pance Kumbev and Vlade Lazarevski faced eachother in Poland, Orhan Mustafi scored twice in his debut for Basel, Goran Maznov netted once for Tom’, Sakiri once too but for Qarabagh and Igor Mitreski, Oka Nikolov and Nikolce Noveski advanced in the next round of the German Cup.

England, League Championship, Ipswich Town FC – Preston North End FC 1:2
Velice Sumulikoski played the whole match for Ipswich.

Germany, DFB-Pokal, Tennis Borussia Berlin e.V. – FC Energie Cottbus 0:3
Igor Mitreski played the whole game for Energie and got a yellow card in the 22nd minute.

Germany, DFB-Pokal, SC Pfullendorf 1919 e.V. – Eintracht Frankfurt FAG 0:3
Goalkeeper Oka Nikolov played the full 90 minutes for the team from Frankfurt and did not let any goals in his net.

Germany, DFB-Pokal, SV Babelsberg 03 – 1. FSV Mainz 05 1:2 aet
Nikolce Noveski played the full 120 minutes in Mainz’s away win in the German Cup in a match that had to be played on extra time since the regular time ended 1:1.

Austria, T-Mobile Bundesliga, SK Austria Kärnten – SV Mattersburg 2:0
Both Ilco Naumoski and Goce Sedloski played the whole game for Mattersburg but were unabble to help their team to win some points.

Czech, 2. Liga, FC Sparta Praha B – FK Baník Most 1:2
Defender Nikola Tonev played the full match for the away team.

Russia, Premier-Liga, FK Moskva – FK Tom’ Tomsk 2:1
Goran Maznov played the full match and scored the only goal for Tom’ in the 17th minute.

Ukraine, Vyshcha Liha, FK Vorskla Poltava – FK Dynamo Kyiv 2:2
Filip Despotovski got in in the 82nd minute instead Serhiy Kravchenko just two minutes after Albanian international Debatik Curri tied the result. Despotovski was put in the game to help Vorskla’s defence in the last 10 minutes to keep the score and he managed to do that, preventing famous Dynamo Kyiv from scoring a winning goal.

Hungary, Soproni Liga, BFC Siófok – Újpest FC 0:1
Mirsad Mijadinoski played the whole game as Újpest made their first victory in the 2nd round of the new season.

Poland, Orange Ekstraklasa, KP Legia Warszawa SSA – KS Polonia Warszawa 2:2
Both Macedonian internationals, Pance Kumbev and Vlade Lazarevski, played the whole 90 minutes in this interesting derby of Warszawa. Kumbev for Legia and Lazarevski for Polonia, on the end they shaked their hands in this draw.

Switzerland, Super League, FC Basel 1893 – FC Vaduz 4:0
18 years old striker Orhan Mustafi scored twice for Basel in his debut match. First in the 56th minute and than 7 minutes later he scored again. He also played the full match.

Azerbaijan, Premier League, PFK Bakili Bakli – FK Qarabagh 1:2
Artim Sakiri played the full 90 minutes and opened the score in the 24th minute with his debut goal in the debut game for Qarabagh.

Scotland, SFL Second Division, Stirling Albion – East Fife FC 1:1
Defender veteran Goran Stanik played the whole match for East Fife.
