Adelaide's defender, 29-years-old Sasa Ognenovski is set to move to South Korea. Two clubs are battling for his signature, Australian FoxSports reports. Sasa is born in Melbourne but is of Macedonian origin.
The 195 centimeters tall defender will be leaving Adelaide United soon. He is playing in top form for his team and is on the first place in the A-league at the moment. That has made FC Seoul from South Korea to throw in a $350.000 bid, which should be enough to secure Ognenovski's transfer. If the transfer take place, than Ognenovski will fulfill his duties with Adelaide and then move to K-League on March, when the new season will start. Adelaide's coach knows that Sasa will be a hard man to replace but Korean clubs offered much better conditions for the central defender.
Sasa Ognenovski has never been called up for a national team, neither Macedonia nor Australia. There is still a possibilty for him to wear the red and yellow shirt, especially now when he is in top form.
