Weekend internationals performances

Sumi in action First weekend in the New Year and five Macedonian internationals were active. Velice Sumulikoski advanced into the next round of the FA Cup with Ipswich, Sasa Ognenovski maintained with the winning in the far Australia, Jovan Kostovski again came in as a sub for OFI, while Sikov and Milosevski are still searching for a win on Cyprus.


England, FA Cup 3rd round, Ipswich Town – Chesterfield 3:0
Velice Sumulikoski played the whole game for Ipswich and got a yellow card in the first half after a tackle on Lloyd Kerry. This was his 5th yellow card this season with which he automatically got a one match ban. His team advanced into the 4th round

Greece, Souper Lika Ellada, PAOK – O.F.I. Kriti 2:0
Jovan Kostovski got in instead striker Giorgos Manousos in the 82nd minute when the score was already 2:0 for PAOK.

Cyprus, Protathlima A’Katigopias, Ethnikos Achnas – Anorthosis 0:1
Vance Sikov played the whole game for Ethnikos as his team lost the second match in a row.

Cyprus, Protathlima A’Katigopias, AEK Larnaca – Enosis Neon Paralimni 2:2
Petar Milosevski played the full 90 minutes for Enosis.

Australia, A-League, Adelaide United – Sydney 2:0
Sasa Ognenovski played the whole match for Adelaide as they got back in the first position on the table with this win.
