Roundup of Sunday’s performances

In Italian Serie A action, both Goran Pandev of Napoli and Agim Ibraimi of Cagliari had scheduled games on Sunday.  Pandev started for Napoli and played until the 67th minute when he was substituted by Lorenzo Insigne.  Goran had two chances in the 54th and 60th minute, but his first shot went over the goal while his second effort was saved by the Verona keeper.  Napoli still won 0:3 on the road to easily get past Verona.  Agim Ibraimi, meanwhile, once again stayed on the bench as an unused substitute in Cagliari’s heavy 1:4 home defeat against Juventus.

David Babunski of Barcelona B came off the bench in the 76th minute during Sunday’s game in his team’s convincing 5:0 win over Hércules.  Barcelona B was up 4:0 at the time Babunski entered the game, and they added one more goal in the 83rd minute to complete the scoreline.

Armend Alimi played the entire game for Ermis who celebrated a 5:1 victory over Doxa in Cyprus.  Alimi also received a yellow card during the match as Ermis remained just four points behind the leaders.

Finally, in Greece’s second division, Zoran Baldovaliev played all 90 minutes for Kerkyra in their high scoring 4:3 victory over Vataniakos.  Kerkyra once led 3:0, than Vataniakos scored three unanswered goals, before Kerkyra scored the game winner in the 79th minute.  In another game, Ivan Mitrov of Aiginiakos played the opening 39 minutes in his team’s 5:1 triumph over Pierikos.  Aiginiakos trailed 0:1 when Mitrov was substituted, but then they scored five consecutive goals to collect three points.
