A derby clash in Tetovo between Shkendija and Metalurg and Vardar taking on Teteks are some of the games on tap for this weekend.
This derby of the First League in third third round will take place in Tetovo between Shkendija and Metalurg. Shkendija is looking for their first win of the season after compiling just one point in the opening two rounds of the season, both played on the road. Shkendija will rely on its home fans to defeat Gjorgji Hristov’s team who has opened the season with the maximum six points without conceding a goal.
Pelister hosts Bregalnica from Shtip in this round, but the game will be played without fans as a punishment for an incident earlier in the season. Bregalnica, along with with Metalurg and Turnovo, tops the table and will look to take three points with Pelister not being able to count on its fan support.
After the surprising defeat in Kichevo against Napredok, the defending champion Vardar returns home where they will face struggling side Teteks, searching not only for their first point but also their first goal as well.
In the remaining games of the round, Renova hosts Horizont Turnovo, Drita faces Napredok, while Rabotnich visits Sileks.

In the Second League, 11 Oktomvri and Pobeda Junior will play in the local derby of Prilep. Of course, this is not the real derby as in the past since the original Pobeda was suspended by FIFA for match fixing. Meanwhile, Makedonija Gjorche Petrov and Skopje, two of the promotion favorites, will strive for victories against Novaci and Babi, respectively. There should be an interesting match in Skopje’s nearby village of Gorno Lisiche where the home team will host Tikvesh. Also, newcomer Vrapchishte, who have two wins in the first two rounds, visits Gostivar looking to remain unbeaten.
