Former Macedonian international Robert Popov scored a goal for Kriens during a friendly against UD Las Zocas.

Robert Popov played the 1st half for Kriens and scored the opening goal in the 22nd minute.  His club went on to celebrate a 5:0 victory over Spanish side UD Las Zocas.  Kriens is currently preparing for the second half of the season in the Swiss second division which resumes in mid February.

Robert, the older brother of Macedonian international Goran Popov, signed with Kriens in September of 2011 after an injury depleted stint with French side Auxerre that lasted from 2008 until the summer of 2010.  He then missed a year of football before signing the contract with Kriens.
