Stefan Ristovski collected another assist to help lead Latina to a 1:0 victory over Cittadella on Saturday.

Stefan Ristovski, who turned 22 years old earlier this week, started at right wing-back in Latina’s 3-5-2 formation against Cittadella on Saturday.  Ristovski continued his good form when he was credited with an assist on the only goal of the game in the 18th minute.  Stefan sent in a cross from the right which ultimately reached Brazilian striker Jonathas who then fired a right footed shot to the back of the net.  Ristovski did have a goal scoring chance in the 37th minute, but his volley attempt from the edge of the area went narrowly wide of the right goal post.

That goal proved to be the only one of the game as Latina recorded another three points to continue its solid season in Serie B.  Latina has now amassed 38 points from its 25 league games, which is 4 points behind second place Empoli and 8 points behind top ranked Palermo.

Ristovski played until the 76th minute of Saturday’s game when he was substituted by Abdelkader Ghezzal.
