Stefan Ristovski moved to Latina where yesterday he was officially presented as new signing.
Latina gained promotion to the Serie B after winning the Prima Divisione play-offs and one of their first acquisitions is 21-years-old Macedonian right back stefan Ristovski. He spent the entire last season at Bari where he was loaned from Parma. Once again the the Crociati sent him on loan, this time to Serie B debutants Latina.
“My personal goal is to improve even more after the good season at Bari. Of course I also want to give something in return to Latina. I’m very sattisfied for coming here, this is an important place, I will play for a team that wants to test itself in the Serie B level and I’m ready. I still remember very well the derby of the Prima Divisione when I was playing for Frosinone: it was a great spectacle, the stadium was full, that Sunday I became realy emotional and I was stunned that there could be a derby this big in the third leagues. The Serie B? Compared to the Lega Pro, here it’s practised more of real football, the ball is more on the ground than in the air; here at latina I think I can find the real ambient for doing great, the board is aiming for young players and I’m thankful that they have chosen me for their project. But, for good result it also requires experienced players which I think are also here. We must become a big family.” said Ristovski at his presentation.
Ristovski moved to Parma from Vardar in 2010, played for the Primavera team but at senior level was never given a chance, he was loaned to Crotone, Frosinone and Bari.
