Stevica Ristić served his suspension for Suwon and made his season debut during today’s game against Jeju United.

As a reminder, Ristić was handed a multi-game suspension for his role in a brawl that took place during the AFC Champions League last year.  Stevica had to sit the first three league games this season with the suspension but returned for today’s game.  With the good form of Suwon striker Dženan Radončić, who the club signed prior to the season, Ristić began the game on the bench.

In the 58th minute, with the game tied at 1:1, the Suwon manager brought on Ristic for fellow attacker Cho Dong-Geon.  Suwon could not score the desired goal and actually suffered a loss after Jeju United scored a late game winner in the 90th minute to collect a narrow 2:1 victory.
