Benjamin Sulimani scored a goal for Admira in the Austrian Cup, while Michael Nanchoff was a first-time starter for his club in Major League Soccer (MLS).

Austria, ÖFB-Cup, Parndorf – Admira 0:3
Emin Sulimani wasn’t called up by Admira due to an injury while his younger brother Benjamin Sulimani came on in the 63rd minute and scored the third goal for the visitors eight minutes later.  With the win, Admira advanced to the next round of the Austrian cup.

Denmark, Superligaen, Bröndby – Odense 0:1
21-year-old Bashkim Kadrii played the entire game for Odense as his team started the new season in Denmark with a win on the road.

Slovenia, Prva Liga, Gorica – Maribor 1:3
Left back Dejan Trajkovski played all 90 minutes for Maribor in the win away to Gorica.

Sweden, Allsvenskan, Malmö – GAIS 2:0
Dime Jankulovski started on the bench for GAIS as the #2 keeper before coming on in the 49th minute to replace Henri Sillanpää.

Sweden, Division 1 Södra, FC Trollhättan – Skövde 2:2
19-year-old central back Daniel Janevski played from the start for the home side in the home draw.

Sweden, Division 1 Södra, Sleipner – Kristianstad 2:1
Midfielder Julian Grozdanovski spent the entire game on Kristianstad’s bench.

Switzerland, Axpo Super League, Grasshopper Club Zürich – Sion 0:2
Izet Hajrovic played until the 81st minute as a left winger for Grasshoppers when he was then substituted by the centre forward of Macedonian origins in Orhan Mustafi.

Ukraine, Premier Liga, Vorskla – Kryvbas 0:1
Jovan Markoski started in central midfield for Vorskla and played until the 77th minute when he was replaced by Vadym Milko.  Eleven minutes later, Kryvbas scored the game winner and spoiled Vorskla’s start to the new season.

USA, Major League Soccer, Chicago Fire – Vancouver Whitecaps 1:0
23-year-old Michael Nanchoff made his first start in the MLS by playing as a left winger for Vancouver.  He eventually played until the 59th minute when Brazilian international Camilo took his place.

USA, Major League Soccer, Columbus Crew – Sporting Kansas City 0:2
Offensive midfielder Dilly Duka began the game on the bench for Columbux before coming on in the 62nd minute to substitute Jairo Arrieta.
