Potential internationals performances

20-year-old allrounder Ben Kantarovski played the first half for Newcastle as a defensive midfielder in the home draw against Gold Coast.

Australia, A-League, Sydney – Melbourne Victory 1:0
Goalkeeper Ivan Necevski played from the start for Sydney and kept a clean sheet.

Austria, Bundesliga, Austria Wien – Admira 2:1
Emin Sulimani is still out with an injury for Admira while his brother and teammate, Benjamin Sulimani, was an unused substitute for the away side.

Austria, Regionalliga Ost, Rapid Wien II – Sollenau 3:1
Eldis Bajrami started for Rapid II and played until the 80th minute when he was substituted by forward Vasil Kuleski, another player with Macedonian origin.

Austria, Regionalliga Ost, Parndorf – Wiener Sportklub 0:0
Philip Dimov played all 90 minutes for the away team and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet.  In the 51st minute, Dimov also received a yellow card for a bad foul.

Croatia, T-Com 1. HNL, Varaždin – Zagreb 2:3
21-year-old offensive midfielder Besart Abdurahimi was the man of the match as he provided two assists in stoppage time to lead Zagreb to a come from behind victory over Varazdin.  Abdurahimi, still eligible to play for Macedonia’s U21 national team, has played in 15 games for Zagreb this season and has compiled two goals to go along with six assists.

Denmark, Superligaen, Odense – Nordsjælland 0:1
Bashkim Kadrii played the entire game as a right winger for Odense.

England, Championship, Derby County – Watford 1:2
20-year-old Alexander Kacaniklic was instrumental for Watford by providing the assists on both goals for his team.  With the win, Watford climbed to 14th place in the English Championship.

Germany, Bundesliga, Werder – Hannover 3:0
Allrounder Aleksandar Ignjovski started on Werder’s bench and played the last 13 minutes after he replaced Tom Trybull.

Greece, Super League, Kerkyra – Xanthi 2:0
Centre forward Marko Markovski played the entire game for Xanthi and also received a yellow card in the 28th minute.

Poland, Ekstraklasa, Wisła – Lech 0:0
Offensive allrounder Ivica Iliev played all 90 minutes for Wisła in the goalless draw.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, Jagodina – OFK Beograd 2:0
18-year-old midfielder Marko Pavlovski started the game on OFK’s bench before coming on in the 50th minute replacing Miloš Žeravica.

Slovenia, 1.SNL, Celje – Nafta 1:1
Left back Darko Atanasov made his debut for Nafta by playing all 90 minutes for the away side.

Switzerland, Axpo Super League, Grasshopper – Basel 0:2
Centre forward Orhan Mustafi played until the 67th minute for Grasshopper while his teammate Izet Hajrović was an unused substitute.

Switzerland, Challenge League, Locarno – Winterthur 1:1
21-year-old midfielder Miki Jovanov spent the whole game on Locarno’s bench as the referee of this match was Nicolas Jancevski who is of Macedonian origin.

Ukraine, Premyer-Liha, Dnipro – Vorskla 1:1
Midfielder Jovan Markoski played the entire game for the away side.

USA, Major League Soccer, Colorado Rapids – Columbus Crew 2:0
Midfielder Dilaver Duka, whose father is from Macedonia, started for Columbus and played until the 12th minute when an injury forced him to be substituted.
