Penalty kick goal for Besart Ibraimi

Attacker Besart Ibraimi converted a penalty in the 82nd minute to hand Sevastopol an important win in the Ukrainian second division as they attempt to win promotion.

Besart Ibraimi initially started the game on the bench before coming on in the 70th minute to substitute Volodymyr Tanchyk.  It was still 0:0 at that point in the road encounter against Mykolaiv but Sevastopol was then handed a penalty in the 82nd minute.  Ibraimi converted the spot kick for a final score of 0:1, keeping Sevastopol in the race for a promotion spot.  Besart has scored eight goals in 16 league games this season, six of them coming on converted penalty kicks.

Sevastopol has won eight consecutive games and finds itself in third place of the Ukrainian second division.  There are six remaining league games until the end of the season and Sevastopol trails second placed Metalurh Zaporizhya by seven points and first placed Goverla by eight points.  The top two teams on the table win promotion to the Ukrainian top division.
