Attacker Goran Pandev returned from his two game red card suspension and provided an assist during today’s 2:2 draw away to Roma.

Goran Pandev returned from his two match ban for Napoli by coming off the bench in the 52nd minute of today’s game against Roma to replace another Macedonian born player in Blerim Dzemaili.  It was 1:1 at that point and Goran brought on some added creativity with his movement and passing.  In the 67th minute, while on a counter attack, Pandev found fellow striker Edinson Cavani who did the rest by scoring a beautiful goal from the edge of the area.  Napoli continued to dominate play after the goal but Roma managed to score a late equalizer in the 88th minute to snatch a point.

Napoli is now tied with Lazio for third place in Serie A with 55 points, although Lazio does have a game in hand as they play tomorrow away to Udinese.
