Before the start of today’s game against Teteks, the Ohrid players wore black shirts with the words “management, go away”. However, that is not all.
The FK Ohrid players are dissatisfied with the management of the club and after not receiving their salaries for seven months, the players clearly expressed their discontent with the incompetent management, Ohridnews.com reports. Despite the obvious distractions, the club has been playing very well, especially after Serbian coach Dragan Antić took charge of the club. However, the current management now wants Antić out of the club because he has also publicly criticized the management but the players are totally on the side of Antić and will only play for him.
Additionally, as soon as referee Petar Mantev whistled for the start the game, the Ohrid players sat on the pitch and waited for one minute while the Teteks players demonstrated fair play by passing the ball around on their own half. The fans at the stadium sided with the Ohrid players and applauded the move that was aimed at the management.
Eventually, Ohrid won today’s game 1:0 with Antonio Kalanoski scoring the lone goal in the 41st minute. Here’s video of the highlights, courtesy of Sportefe.com
