Mainz captain Nikolce Noveski remains questionable for this Saturday’s game against Köln as he continues to recover from a thigh injury.

The manager of Mainz, Thomas Tuchel, mentioned the following about Noveski’s status for the Köln game on Saturday, “The injury is improving but it’s important to be patient and not rush things.  He still feels some discomfort in his left thigh.  However, Noveski will decide whether he plays against Köln.”

Noveski is a veteran player and highly respected at Mainz so Tuchel will let him decide whether he will be healthy enough to help the club in the Köln game on Saturday in league play.  If Noveski decides he is not quite ready to play, Bo Svensson or Jan Kirchhoff will get the start at the left CB position.
