Defender Goce Sedloski received his commemorative cap and medal from UEFA for achieving 100 caps for the Macedonian national team during the Albania friendly on Tuesday.
It was extra special for Sedloski since the friendly was played in his hometown of Prilep. Before the start of the game, on behalf of UEFA, FFM president Haralampie Hadzi-Risteski presented the award to Sedloski who was also congratulated by the rest of the players for being the only Macedonian player to achieve 100 caps for the senior national team. Sedloski will continue to be a part of the national team as he recently became an assistant coach under manager John Toshack.
Sedloski told the following to UEFA.com, “Every match I played for Macedonia was a source of great pleasure for me. I always represented my country with all of my heart and I’ll continue to work the same way in my coaching career.”
