MacedonianFootball.com, citing Buolevard-Baden.de, reported that Filip Ivanovski was on trial with Karlsruher SC earlier in the day.  However, the German newspaper corrected itself later and announced that Mirko Ivanovski is the actual player who is on trial with the struggling club from the second division.

Mirko Ivanovski left his former club Arka from Poland during this transfer period and is seeking a new club.  He featured in today’s training for Karlsruher, while the club will play a friendly match tomorrow which might be Mirko’s first chance to showcase his talents.

Mirko has made five appearances for the Macedonian national team and has scored one goal so far.  He started his career with hometown club Pelister before moving to Makedonija Gjorche Petrov where he became league champion in the season 2008/09.  Ivanovski then briefly played for Slavia Praha in Czech Republic before joining Polish side Arka from Gdynia in the summer of 2010.

Karlsruher is currently in last place of the 2.Bundesliga with only 12 points after 19 rounds.  Karlsruher was actually chasing Filip Ivanovski in the summer of 2009 and word came today of renewed interest in Filip but a mix up was made by the media among the two players who share the same last name.  As a matter of fact, Filip is with Vardar at their training camp in Dojran while Mirko is the player who could continue his career with Karlsruher if he impresses during his trial.
