Defender Mirsad Mijadinoski netted his first league goal in a Wil uniform during today’s 1:1 draw against Winterthur in the Swiss second division.

Both Macedonian players on Wil, Mirsad Mijadinoski and Adis Jahovic, played the entire game for the home side in the 1:1 draw.  Mijadinoski scored the opening goal of the game in the 15th minute with a header following a good cross by one of his teammates.  Wil carried its 1:0 lead until the 72nd minute when Winterthur tied the game, and that proved to be the final goal of the game in the 1:1 draw.

The goal by Mijadinoski was his first of the season in 12 league appearances for Wil.  He originally joined Wil in the winter transfer window after Mirsad mutually decided to part ways with Hungarian side Debrecen.  After 27 rounds, Wil finds itself in 8th place out of 16 teams with 42 points.
