Daniel Georgievski (R) in a Steaua uniform; photo: ziarelive.roSamir Fazli scored a late goal for Heerenveen three minutes after coming off the bench, Daniel Georgievski made his competitive debut for Steaua București, while Goran Popov returned to action for Dynamo Kyiv.

UEFA Champions League, Third Qualifying Round, Dynamo Kyiv – Feyenoord 2:1
Goran Popov played all 90 minutes for Dynamo Kyiv who overcame a 0:1 deficit early in the 2nd half to turn the game around and take a slim 2:1 lead heading into the return leg in the Netherlands next week.

UEFA Champions League, Third Qualifying Round, København – Club Brugge 0:0
Ivan Trichkovski was not included in the Club Brugge squad due to an injury.

UEFA Champions League, Third Qualifying Round, Maribor – Dudelange 4:1
Agim Ibraimi started for Maribor and played until the 67th minute when he was replaced by Željko Filipović.  On the third goal for Maribor in the 47th minute, Ibraimi passed the ball to Dejan Mezga who created some space before firing a shot to the bottom right corner past the diving Dudelange keeper.

UEFA Champions League, Third Qualifying Round, Ironi Kiryat Shmona – Neftçi 4:0
Darko Tasevski got the start for Ironi Kiryat Shmona and played until the 64th minute when he was substituted by Ahmed Abed.  As for Neftçi, Igor Mitreski played the entire game and gave away a penalty in the 42nd minute after he fouled an opposing player inside the box.  It was a rather harsh call since the opponent fell down way too easily but the referee pointed to the spot and Ironi Kiryat Shmona converted the penalty for its first goal of the game.  The club from Israel added three more goals after the break to take a commanding lead heading into the return leg next week.

UEFA Champions League, Third Qualifying Round, AEL Limassol – Partizan 1:0
Neither Aleksandar Lazevski nor Stefan Ashkovski were called up by Partizan who conceded a soft goal after a defensive error to suffer a narrow loss in the first leg of their matchup against AEL.

UEFA Champions League, Third Qualifying Round, Anderlecht – Ekranas 5:0
Yani Urdinov played all 90 minutes for Ekranas who suffered a heavy road defeat to damper its chances of advancing further in the competition.

UEFA Europa League, Third Qualifying Round, Heerenveen – Rapid București 4:0
Samir Fazli started on the bench for Heerenveen before entering the game in the 86th minute replacing Filip Đuričić, while Bazhe Ilijoski started for Rapid București and played until the 63rd minute when he was substituted by Dorin Goga.  Fazli scored the fourth and final foal for Heerenveen in the 89th minute when he received a through ball, used his pace to outrun an opposing defender, before slotting a shot past the Rapid keeper.

UEFA Europa League, Third Qualifying Round, Steaua București – Spartak Trnava 0:1
Daniel Georgievski made his competitive debut for Steaua București by getting the start at right back and playing until the 62nd minute when he was substituted by Tiberiu Bălan.  Georgievski also received a yellow card in the 52nd minute.

Romania, Liga I Bergenbier, Oțelul Galați – Rapid București 1:1
Bazhe Ilijoski began the game on the bench for Rapid București before he came on at the start of the 2nd half replacing Filipe Teixeira.  Rapid trailed 1:0 at the break but was gifted a fortunate equalizer in the 74th minute after a goalkeeping blunder allowed Nicolae Grigore to score from close range.

Romania, Liga I Bergenbier, Concordia – Viitorul Constanța 1:1
Egzon Belica started at left CB for Concordia and played all 90 minutes in the 1:1 home draw.

South Korea, FA Cup, Gyeongnam – Suwon 1:1  (Gyeongnam advanced 4:2 on penalties)
Stevica Ristic played from the start for Suwon who was eliminated from the South Korean Cup after losing in the penalty shootout.  It was 1:1 after 90 minutes and the score stayed the same after the 30 minutes of extra time.  In the penalty shootout, Ristic took the first spot kick for Suwon but he missed as Gyeongnam prevailed to advance to the next round of the competition.

China, FA Cup, Liaoning – Hangzhou Greentown 1:0
Vlatko Grozdanoski started on the bench for Liaoning before he entered the game in the 13th minute to substitute Zhang Jingyang.  Liaoning advanced to the semifinals of the Chinese Cup.

Latvia, LMT Virslīga, Skonto – Ventspils 1:0
Bojan Gjorgievski was an unused substitute for Skonto who narrowly won the Latvian derby with the lone goal being scored by Tadas Labukas in the 84th minute.
