Boban Grncarov scored a decisive goal for Lierse to force extra time where his club advanced to the semi-finals of the Belgian Cup, while the teams of both Goran Pandev and Ivan Trickovski suffered disappointing home draws in league play.

Goran Pandev played the entire game for Napoli who only managed a point against struggling side Bologna. Pandev was active and looked the most threatening among the Napoli attackers. Goran had two good chances during the game but he first shot narrowly wide with an audacious attempt just before halftime while his other chance, from close range, following a corner kick was blocked by a Bologna defender.
Cyprus, Marfin Laiki League, APOEL – Olympiacos Nicosia 0:0
Ivan Trickovski played all 90 minutes for APOEL who was held to a disappointing home draw against Olympiacos Nicosia. Trickovski had his best chance in the 88th minute but his header was straight at the visiting keeper. With the draw, APOEL dropped to 4th place on the table in Cyprus.

Belgium, Cofidis Cup, Beerschot – Kortrijk 2:1
Tome Pacovski played from the start for Beerschot and conceded one goal in the 66th minute. Pacovski also received a yellow card in the 44th minute for protesting with the referee after one of his teammates was shown a red card. Beerschot was eliminated from the Belgian Cup by losing 3:2 on aggregate over the two games against Kortjirk.
Belgium, Cofidis Cup, Standard Liège – Lierse 2:4
Boban Grncarov played the entire game for Lierse who advanced to the semi-finals of the domestic cup. Grncarov forced extra time in the 90th minute when he scored a goal with a nice header to give Lierse the 1:2 road win. Since Standard Liège won the first leg by the same score, the match went into extra time where Lierse scored two goals on their way to the semi-finals of the competition.
