Goran Pandev started on the bench for Napoli before he entered the game in the 84th minute replacing Blerim Dzemaili. Pandev did okay during his 10 minutes on the pitch but Napoli suffered a minimal road loss. Two players scored the five combined goals with Bayern München striker Mario Gómez netting a hat trick while defender Federico Fernández scored a brace for Napoli.
UEFA Champions League, Group G, APOEL – Porto 2:1
Ivan Trickovski started for APOEL and played until the 85th minute when he was replaced by Esteban Solari. Ivan did not attempt a shot a goal but played an important role in the win for APOEL by tracking back to help out on defense and providing service for the lone striker Ailton Almeida.
UEFA Europa League, Group E, Beşiktaş – Dynamo Kyiv 1:0
Goran Popov was not called up by Dynamo Kyiv because of a knee injury.
UEFA Europa League, Group H, Braga – Maribor 5:1
Agim Ibraimi played all 90 minutes for Maribor who suffered a heavy road defeat against Braga. Ibraimi came close to scoring in the 64th minute but his free kick from about 25 meters struck the crossbar. With the loss, Maribor is pretty much eliminated from the Europa League.
Poland, Ekstraklasa, Ruch Chorzów – Polonia Warszawa 0:1
Aleksandar Todorovski played the entire game for Polonia Warszawa and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet. The visiting club scored the lone goal of the game in the 65th minute through striker Pavel Šultes to record the narrow victory.

Mario Gjurovski was not among the 18 players called up by Metalurh Donetsk.
Cyprus, Marfin Laiki League, Ethnikos Achnas – Nea Salamis 1:0
Neither Edin Nuredinoski nor Stojan Ignjatov played for Ethnikos Achnas because of injuries. Nuredinoski recently sustained a knee injury and was not able to recover in time for this game. With the win, manager Cedomir Janevski collected his first victory since taking charge of Ethnikos Achnas.

Aco Stojkov started for Aarau and played until the 75th minute when he was replaced by Alain Schultz. Stojkov provided the assist on the lone goal of the game in the 19th minute when he combined nicely with Shkelzen Gashi who then scored with a shot past the opposing keeper.

Stefan Ristovski was an unused substitute for Crotone.
Saudi Arabia, Zain Saudi League, Al-Taawon – Najran 1:4
Zoran Baldovaliev played all 90 minutes for Najran and scored two goals to help his team celebrate a comfortable road victory. Baldovaliev scored with a header on the first goal while the second goal came from close range after he was set up nicely by one of his teammates.
