Midweek internationals performances

Krste Velkoski; photo: fcsarajevo.baKrste Velkoski recorded two assists for Sarajevo, Agim Ibraimi and Maribor drew against Celtic in Champions League qualifying, while Marko Simonovski was included in the Amkar matchday squad for the first time since transferring to the club earlier this summer.

UEFA Champions League, Play-off Round, Napoli – Athletic Bilbao 1:1
Goran Pandev was not included in the Napoli squad for this matchup against Athletic Bilbao.

UEFA Champions League, Play-off Round, Maribor – Celtic 1:1
Agim Ibraimi played all 90 minutes for Maribor who came back from an early deficit to salvage a home draw against Celtic.  Ibraimi had his best chance in the 60th minute, but his header was saved by the Celtic keeper.

UEFA Europa League, Play-off Round, Petrolul – Dinamo Zagreb 1:3
Arijan Ademi played the entire game for Dinamo Zagreb and also received a yellow card in the 49th minute.  Dinamo scored three away goals to put itself in a great position heading into the return leg.

UEFA Europa League, Play-off Round, Rijeka – Sheriff 1:0
Adis Jahovikj started in attack for Rijeka and played until the 75th minute when he was substituted by Moisés Magalhães.  Rijeka scored a late goal in the 86th minute to narrowly down Sheriff.

UEFA Europa League, Play-off Round, Sarajevo – Borussia Mönchengladbach 2:3
Krste Velkoski played the whole match for Sarajevo and provided both assists for the home side, while his teammate Riste Mitrevski was not called up.  Velkoski’s first assist came after a free kick from the left was headed home by Bojan Puzigaća, while his second assist came when he found Haris Duljević who did the rest with a well placed shot to the back of the net.

UEFA Europa League, Play-off Round, Lokeren – Hull City 1:0
Besart Abdurahimi opened on the bench for Lokeren before he made a late appearance in the 88th minute to replace Nill De Pauw.

UEFA Europa League, Play-off Round, Qarabağ – Twente 0:0
Muarem Muarem got the start for Qarabağ and played until the 67th minute when he made way for Namig Alasgarov.

Romania, Liga I, Viitorul – CFR Cluj 0:2
Mirko Ivanovski began on the bench for CFR Cluj before he entered the game in the 85th minute to take the place of Grégory Tadé, while Boban Nikolov played all 90 minutes for Viitorul.

Russia, SOGAZ Football Championship, Kuban – Amkar 1:0
Marko Simonovski was an unused substitute for Amkar.

Thailand, Toyota Thai Premier League, Muangthong United – Buriram United 0:1
Mario Gjurovski missed his second consecutive game for Muangthong United due to an injury.

Thailand, Toyota Thai Premier League, Chainat – Bangkok Glass 3:2
Darko Tasevski came off the bench in the 2nd half for Bangkok Glass, while his teammate Bazhe Ilijoski played all 90 minutes in attack.  As for Chainat, Borche Manevski entered the game in the 79th minute to replace Phanuwat Jinta.

Sweden, Allsvenskan, Djurgården – Mjällby 4:0
Daniel Ivanovski was not summoned in the Mjällby squad due to an injury.

Sweden, Allsvenskan, Häcken – Helsingborg 1:1
Leonard Zuta was an unused substitute for Häcken.

Slovenia, Pokal Slovenije, Šmartno – Domžale 0:5
Zeni Husmani was an unused substitute for Domžale.

Denmark, DBU Pokalen, Viborg – Aarhus 0:2
Aleksandar Stankov played the entire game for Viborg and also received a yellow card in the 65th minute, while his teammate Antonio Stankov also got the start and played until the 50th minute when he was replaced by Sebastian Denius.
