UEFA Champions League, Group F, Napoli – Arsenal 2:0
Goran Pandev started for Napoli and played until the 57th minute when he was substituted by Lorenzo Insigne.  Pandev, who has been in good recent form, could not find the rhythm in this game before his quick withdrawal in the 2nd half.  Goran had just one shot in the 9th minute that lacked power and was easily gathered by the Arsenal keeper.  Napoli did score two goals in the 73rd and 90th minute, but that was not enough as Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund advanced from this group.  All three of those teams had 12 points, but Napoli came on the short end when it came to the tiebreakers.  Instead, Napoli, as the third place finisher, will move over to the Europa League Round of 32.

UEFA Champions League, Group E, Chelsea – Steaua București 1:0
Daniel Georgievski played the entire game for Steaua București who closed their Champions League campaign with a narrow road loss against Chelsea.  Georgievski was once again in the center of a Chelsea goal in the 10th minute in what proved to be the lone strike of the match.  Following a corner, the ball eventually found Georgievski who mishit a clearance, resulting in a goal by his marker Demba Ba.  Initially, it was ruled an own goal by Georgievski but replays showed that the ball came off Ba’s knee, so the goal was later credited to Ba.
