Midweek internationals performances

NestorovskiIlija Nestorovski with a hat-trick for Slovacko against Daniel Mojsov and Vojvodina, Mirko Ivanovski scores for Slavia Prague, and Slavco Georgievski makes his debut with Ethnikos Achnas.

Italy, Serie A, Parma – Inter 1:1
Goran Pandev started once again for Inter and was very active early on as he threatened in the 2nd minute with a powerful left footed shot and then again four minutes later but the Parma keeper was up to the challenge and saved both shots.  Pandev showed his creativity and vision throughout the 1st half by setting up his teammates but Inter could not break down the resilient Parma defense.  Pandev was quiet in the 2nd half and seemed tired but he did play all 90 minutes and received a yellow card in the 19th minute.

Germany, DFB Pokal, Osnabruck – Schalke 04 0:1
Besart Ibraimi was an unused substitute for Schalke who had a tough time beating Osnabruck, who are in the 3rd League in Germany.

England, League Championship, Preston North End – Sheffield United 2:1
Velice Sumulikoski was not among the 18 players called up by Preston.  Preston received midfielder Matthew James on loan from Manchester United and James opened the scoring in the 10th minute for Preston.  It will be interesting to see if Sumulikoski will be called up for the March 3rd game against Montenegro and beyond since Mirsad Jonuz has said that he will not call up players who do not play for their club teams.

France, Coupe de France, Auxerre – Plabennec 4:0
Robert Popov continues to not be called up by Auxerre.

Cyprus, Cypriot Cup, Ermis Aradippou – APOEL 0:1
Boban Grncarov did not play for the visitors.

Cyprus, Protathlima A’Katigopias, APEO – Ethnikos Achnas 1:1
Edin Nuredinoski and Vance Sikov played all 90 minutes for Ethnikos Achnas while their new teammate Slavco Georgievski made his debut for Ethnikos Achnas when he came on in the 73rd minute replacing Ivan Petrovic when they were down 1:0.  A crazy ending to this game as the game had to be abandoned after Ethnikos equalized in the 6th minute of stoppage time while the referee had only shown 4 minutes of stoppage time.  APEP were furious and their players left the field.  

Club Friendly, Slovacko – Vojvodina 3:3
An unbelievable game for the 19 year old Ilija Nestorovski who scored a hat-trick for Slovacko.  He scored in the 15th, 40th, and 65th minute before he was substituted in the 80th minute.  For Vojvodina, Daniel Mojsov played all 90 minutes.

Club Friendly, Polonia Warszawa – Zenit 1:0
Filip Ivanovski started and played as a lone striker in an innovative 4-1-2-2-1 before he was replaced by Milan Nikolic in the 78th minute.

Club Friendly, Polonia Warszawa – Valencia 1:1

Filip Ivanovski played until the 72nd minute for Polonia.

Club Friendly, U.D. Las Palmas – Slavia Prague 0:1
Mirko Ivanovski played the entire 2nd half for Slavia Prague and scored the lone goal of the game in the 71st minute. Filip Duranski entered in the 75th minute, while Riste Naumov did not play.

Club Friendly, Debreceni – Lokomotiv Sofia 4:1
Mirsad Mijadinoski played all 90 minutes for Debreceni.

Club Friendly, Levski Sofia – Dinamo Minsk 1:0
Darko Tasevski played the entire 1st half before he was substituted at halftime.

Club Friendly, CSKA Sofia – Tom Tomsk 1:0
Igor Mitreski started on the bench for CSKA and came on in the 39th minute replacing Kiril Kotev, while Goran Maznov played all 90 minutes for Tom Tomsk.

Club Friendly, Rijeka – Banants 0:0

Vlade Lazarevski played all 90 minutes for Rijeka against Armenian club Banants, which is coached by Stevica Kuzmanovski.

Club Friendly, Vorskla – Zhetysu 1:1
Filip Despotovski played the 1st half for Vorskla before he was substituted at halftime.
