Midweek internationals performances

Goran Pandev and Napoli were officially eliminated from the Europa League, leaving Daniel Georgievski, currently out with an injury, of Steaua București (who got past Ajax) as the lone Macedonian player remaining in either the Champions League or Europa League competitions.

Goran Pandev played the entire game for Napoli who was officially eliminated from the UEFA Europa League by losing 0:5 on aggregate over the two games against Czech side Viktoria Plzeň.

UEFA Europa League, Round of 32, Steaua București – Ajax 2:0  (Steaua București advanced 4:2 on penalties)
Daniel Georgievski was not included in the Steaua București squad due to an injury.  Since each team won 2:0 at home over the two legs, the match went into extra time for an additional 30 minutes, where it remained scoreless, but Steaua București ultimately prevailed 4:2 on penalties to advance to the Europa League Round of 16 where they will face Chelsea.

Cyprus, Coca-Cola Cup, Ayia Napa – Apollon 0:2
Bojan Markoski was an unused substitute in the first leg of their quarter-final matchup against Ayia Napa.

Netherlands, Eerste Divisie, Helmond Sport – De Graafschap 2:2
Samir Fazli played all 90 minutes for Helmond Sport in the home draw against De Graafschap.

Netherlands, Eerste Divisie, MVV Maastricht – Veendam 2:0
Antonio Stankov played the entire game for MVV Maastricht who scored a goal in each half to down Veendam.  Stankov also received a yellow card in the 90th minute.
