Club Brugge led 2:1 at that point but then conceded the equalizer in the 86th minute to ensure a point for each side. Trichkovski did cause opposing defender Bram Nuytinck to pick up a red card in the 90th minute after a bad foul led the referee to dismiss Nuytinck.

Darko Tasevski started for Ironi Kiryat Shmona and played until the 73rd minute when he was substituted by Sintayehu Sallalich. Darko played a part in both goals for the home side in the 20th and 55th minute. On the first goal, Tasevski played a good ball to striker Ahmed Abed who then rounded the keeper before finding Dan Einbinder to score in front of an empty goal. Then, on the second and final goal, Darko was fouled inside the area, leading to a penalty, and Einbinder converted the spot kick for his second goal of the game.

Replays showed that the foul did not justify a red card, but Naumoski’s reputation precedes him and the referee quickly sent him off. After the game, the Mattersburg manager stood behind Naumoski and criticized the referee for affecting the outcome of the match with a questionable decision as the score was still 0:0 at the time of the red card.
