Macedonian internationals performances

Darko Tasevski (L) in action for Shmona; photo: Jahovic came off the bench to score a goal for Zürich, Samir Fazli added another goal for Helmond Sport, Darko Tasevski won a penalty for Ironi Kiryat Shmona, snow postponed games for the teams of Agim Ibraimi and Aleksandar Trajkovski, while Ilcho Naumoski was shown a red card for Mattersburg.

Germany, Bundesliga, Mainz – Wolfsburg 1:1
Nikolche Noveski played the entire game for Mainz at left CB, while Ferhan Hasani remains out with an injury for Wolfsburg.  Both goals were scored in the opening 15 minutes, Mainz going on top in the 5th minute before Wolfsburg leveled the score ten minutes later for a 1:1 draw.

England, Barclays Premier League, West Brom – Sunderland 2:1
Goran Popov served the second of his three match suspension for West Brom.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, Club Brugge – Anderlecht 2:2
Ivan Trichkovski started on the bench for Club Brugge before he entered the game in the 82nd minute to substitute Carlos Bacca.  Club Brugge led 2:1 at that point but then conceded the equalizer in the 86th minute to ensure a point for each side.  Trichkovski did cause opposing defender Bram Nuytinck to pick up a red card in the 90th minute after a bad foul led the referee to dismiss Nuytinck.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, Mechelen – OH Leuven 1:2
Tome Pachovski returned from his injury for Mechelen and was back starting at keeper where he conceded two goals in the 67th and 78th minute.

Switzerland, Raiffeisen Super League, Thun – Sion 4:0
Muhamed Demiri played all 90 minutes for Thun in defensive midfield as his side rolled to a comfortable home victory over Sion.

Switzerland, Raiffeisen Super League, Zürich – Young Boys 4:0
Adis Jahovic began on the bench for Zürich before he entered the game in the 71st minute replacing fellow striker Amine Chermiti.  Jahovic managed to score Zürich’s fourth goal in the 79th minute when he played a nice one-two with a teammate before chipping the keeper for a nice goal in the snowy conditions.

Israel, Ligat Winner, Ironi Kiryat Shmona – Bnei Yehuda 2:0
Darko Tasevski started for Ironi Kiryat Shmona and played until the 73rd minute when he was substituted by Sintayehu Sallalich.  Darko played a part in both goals for the home side in the 20th and 55th minute.  On the first goal, Tasevski played a good ball to striker Ahmed Abed who then rounded the keeper before finding Dan Einbinder to score in front of an empty goal.  Then, on the second and final goal, Darko was fouled inside the area, leading to a penalty, and Einbinder converted the spot kick for his second goal of the game.

Poland, T-Mobile Ekstraklasa, Polonia Warszawa – Lechia Gdańsk 1:1
Aleksandar Todorovski played the entire game for Polonia Warszawa as each team scored its goal after the 80th minute, Lechia taking the lead in the 83rd minute before Polonia equalized five minutes later, in the opening round of the second half of the season in Poland.

Italy, Serie B, Pro Vercelli – Bari 2:1
Stefan Ristovski started at right-back for Bari and played until the 67th minute when he was sacrificed for striker Antimo Iunco with his club being down by one goal.  Bari, however, could not score an equalizer and has now gone six consecutive league games without a win (three draws and three losses).

Romania, Liga I Bergenbier, Dinamo București – Brașov 2:1
Kristijan Naumovski stayed on the bench for Dinamo București as the #2 keeper behind Cristian Bălgrădean.

Austria, tipp3 Bundesliga, Wacker Innsbruck – Mattersburg 2:0
Ilcho Naumoski got the start for Mattersburg and played until the 43rd minute when he was shown a direct red card for fouling an opposing player.  Replays showed that the foul did not justify a red card, but Naumoski’s reputation precedes him and the referee quickly sent him off.  After the game, the Mattersburg manager stood behind Naumoski and criticized the referee for affecting the outcome of the match with a questionable decision as the score was still 0:0 at the time of the red card.

Netherlands, Eerste Divisie, Go Ahead Eagles – Helmond Sport 2:1
Samir Fazli played the entire game for Helmond Sport and scored the lone goal for his team in the 79th minute, giving him 3 goals in five games since he was loaned to Helmond by Heerenveen.

Netherlands, Eerste Divisie, Almere City – MVV Maastricht 3:1
Antonio Stankov played all 90 minutes for MVV Maastricht who took the initial lead in the 15th minute but then conceded the next three goals to suffer a bad loss against Almere City.

Azerbaijan, Topaz Premyer Liqası, Neftçi – Inter Bakı 2:0
Both Igor Mitreski of Neftçi and Slavcho Georgievski of Inter Bakı played the entire game for their respective teams in a matchup between the top two teams on the table in Azerbaijan.  Mitreski’s team eventually prevailed by scoring two goals in the 49th and 90th minute to overtake Inter Bakı on the standings by one point.

Azerbaijan, Topaz Premyer Liqası, Simurq – Bakı 0:0
Edin Nuredinoski played from the start for Bakı and kept a clean sheet for the third consecutive match in league play.

Azerbaijan, Topaz Premyer Liqası, Ravan – Qarabağ 2:3
Muarem Muarem began the game on the bench for Qarabağ before he came on at the start of the 2nd half replacing Reynaldo Silva.  Qarabağ needed a late game winner in the 90th minute to snatch all three points.

Iran, Pro League, Aluminium Hormozgan – Persepolis 0:0
Vlatko Grozdanoski started for Persepolis and played until the 83rd minute when he was substituted by Karim Ansarifard.  Grozdanoski was also shown a yellow card in the 41st minute.

Turkey, PTT 1. Lig, Denizlispor – Samsunspor 2:1
Bajram Fetai played all 90 minutes for Denizlispor who needed a late goal from İsmail Haktan in the 84th minute to edge Samsunspor and collect all three points.

Greece, Football League, Thrasyvoulos – Iraklis 0:2
Hristijan Kirovski stayed on the bench as an unused substitute for Iraklis.

Albania, Kategoria Superiore, Flamurtari – Tomori 5:2
Vlade Lazarevski was an unused substitute for Flamurtari.

Albania, Kategoria Superiore, Tirana – Teuta 1:1
Fljamur Tairi played all 90 minutes for Teuta in the goalless draw away to Tirana.
