Vanche Shikov played the entire game for Volyn and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet while his teammate Dushan Savic started on the bench before he came on in the 64th minute replacing Danijel Subotic. Volyn scored a goal in each half to advance to the quarter-finals of the Ukrainian Cup where they will face Dnipro.

Martin Bogatinov played from the start for Karpaty and conceded one goal on a header from close range. After the scored was tied at 1:1 following 90 minutes, the match went into extra time when Karpaty scored the game winner in the 107th minute to advance to the next round of the competition. Karpaty had no luck in the draw, however, as they were drawn to face Shakhtar Donetsk in the quarter-finals of the domestic cup.

Daniel Georgievski was rested and did not play for Steaua București while Egzon Belica was an unused substitute by Concordia. Steaua București was eliminated from the Romanian Cup by losing 3:4 in the penalty shootout.

Dragi Kocev played all 90 minutes for Pirin who ousted Montana to reach the next round of the domestic cup competition.
Serbia, Lav Kup Srbije, Partizan – Borac Čačak 1:2
Aleksandar Lazevski was an unused substitute for Partizan while his teammate Stefan Ashkovski played the entire game and scored the lone goal for the home side in the 31st minute. Ashkovski created some space from his marker before firing a powerful right footed shot past the opposing keeper. However, Partizan conceded two goals in the opening 21 minutes and was shockingly eliminated from the Serbian Cup by second division side Borac Čačak.
Austria, ÖFB-Cup, LASK Linz – Mattersburg 2:2 (LASK Lisk advanced 7:6 on penalties)
Ilcho Naumoski started the game on the bench for Mattersburg before he came on during the extra time period in the 119th minute replacing Patrick Farkas. Since the score was 2:2 after the conclusion of extra time, the match went into penalties. Naumoski took and converted the first penalty for Mattersburg but his club fell short and lost 6:7 to be eliminated from the Austrian Cup.
