Vardar beat Rabotnichki in the Skopje derby, Turnovo and Metalurg were held by Teteks and Sileks, wins for Napredok, Shkendija and Bregalnica Shtip.
The Derby of Skopje for the second time this season is won by Vardar. The Red&Black were better in the finishing that their Red&White rivals realising two of their chances. After a goalless first time, in the first minutes of the second half Jorge Giménez with a header beat Damjan Shishkovski bringing the lead to the visitors. Rabotnichki failed to create a serious attemps towards Zahov’s goal and was eventually punished for their bad play when Jovan Kostovski cemented the win.
Turnovo were leaders only for one round as relegation candidates Teteks managed to get a point today at Kukush. Teteks neutralized the attacks of Turnovo and played a goalless draw, winning their first road point this season.
All that Pelister managed to do in Tetovo was to scare the home fans after the early lead thanks to a goal by Blagojche Glavevski. Shkendija got back in the game and by half-time was already leading 3:1, a result that happened to be final as well. With this win Shkendija now shares the table top with Vardar.
Metalurg is back in crisis as second home game in a row fails to win. After last round’s defeat by Drita, this time the Metallurgists played only a draw with second-to-last Sileks. Churlinov brought the lead to Metalurg in the 10th minute, but after Aleksandar Dalcheski was shown a red card in the 34th minute the home team was playing with 10 men. Sileks eventually used the occasion and tied the score in the 77th minute with a goal by Stojan Velinov.
Renova recorded their sixth defeat this season after losing in Kichevo by Napredok. For the home team this was their 7th seasonal win, launching Napredok on the 4th place.
With the goals by Darko Stojanov, Ivan Mitrov and Riste Naumov, Bregalnica Shtip destroyed Drita. After the surprising away win to Metalurg, the newcomers had no force to repeat the scenario in Shtip and had to return with empty hands.
