After Teteks was relegated at the conclusion of last season, midfielder Darko Micevski was looking for a new team and recently agreed to terms with OFK Beograd.
The 21-year-old Darko Micevski signed a 3-year-deal with OFK Beograd from Serbia. He will become teammates with Marko Pavlovski, a player who Chedomir Janevski called up to the Macedonian squad for the Sweden and Norway friendlies this past June, but Pavlovski declined and later captained Serbia U19 to win the 2013 UEFA U19 championship.
On 14 August, Micevski played for Macedonia U21 in their road friendly against Serbia U21. OFK Beograd scouted Micevski and two days later announced his signing with the team.
Darko did play two games for Teteks during the Europa League first qualifying round earlier this summer but the reigning Macedonian Cup winners were eliminated by Pyunik from Armenia. After that, many players departed Teteks as they had no interest in playing in the Second League.
During today’s Serbian league match between OFK Beograd and Spartak Subotica, Micevski stayed on the bench as an unused substitute in a 1:0 loss for his new team. Darko will look to make his debut next Saturday when OFK Beograd hosts Čukarički.
