Defender Martin Kavdanski (27) is Shkendija’s latest signing.
Bulgarian international Martin Kavdanski has joined Shkendija. Kavdanski was also linked with a move to Shkendija during the winter transfer period, but his signing has became official now. Kavdanski primarily plays as a central defender and along with Berisha, he is the second signing of the club this summer. Previously, they have also announced a new manager in Roy Ferenčina.
Kavdanski has spent the majority of his football career in Bulgaria, playing for the likes of Slavia Sofia, Lokomotiv Mezdra, Lokomotiv Plovdiv and Chermomorets Burgas, which was his last club. Kavdanski was also part of French side Metz back in 2005, where he joined them as a youngster. He has spent two seasons there, training with the first team, but mostly playing for the second team.
“I am very pleased having signed a deal with Shkendija and being part of this project. I appreciate the trust given by the club and I will give everything for the club. I attended a match against Renova during the past championship and I can say the club has the best fans in Macedonia” said Kavdanski after his signing. Along with Miliev, Kavdanski will be the second Bulgarian player in the club.
