Stevica Ristić and his Pohang Steelers eliminated Kantarovski’s Newcastle Jest and advanced into the quarter finals of the Asian Champions League.

Stevica Ristić got in instead of Brazilian international Denilson in the 76th minute and later in the 85th he scored the last goal for his team. For the Jets, full 90 minutes played Benjamin Kantarovski and also the former Australian national team player of Macedonian origin, Saso Petrovski. The Steelers advanced into the quarter finals and on the draw that will take place on the 27th this month they will get their next opponent. Ristić’s possible opponents are Umm-Salal, Bunyodkor, Al-Ittihad, Pakhtakor, Nagoya Grampus, Kawasaki Frontale and FC Seoul.
