Macedonian internationals performances

Nikolche Noveski was not included in the matchday squad by Mainz.  Noveski resumed training with no restrictions earlier this week, but he has lost his starting spot on the team.  The Mainz manager feels comfortable with the current CB duo of Stefan Bell and Niko Bungert, so Noveski faces an uncertain future.

Valmir Nafiu was not among the 18 players called up by Hamburg.

Turkey, Spor Toto Süper Lig, Galatasaray – Fenerbahçe 2:1
Goran Pandev was an unused substitute for Galatasaray who needed two late goals by Wesley Sneijder, both on shots from long distance, to down in-city rival Fenerbahçe.

Italy, Serie A, Atalanta – Parma 1:0
Stefan Ristovski played the opening 45 minutes for Parma before he was replaced at the start of the 2nd half by Abdelkader Ghezzal.  Parma switched to a 3-5-2 formation, leading to Stefan being fielded at right wing-back, but he was only given one half by manager Roberto Donadoni.  Parma ended up suffering a tough loss by conceding the game winner in the 90th minute.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, Mechelen – Anderlecht 1:1
Tome Pachovski remained on the bench for Mechelen as the #2 keeper behind Wouter Biebauw.

Aleksandar Trajkovski started on the wing for Zulte Waregem and played until the 82nd minute when he was substituted by Chuks Aneke.  Trajkovski had one good chance in the 30th minute that he sent just over the goal.

Besart Abdurahimi got the start for Lokeren and played until the 67th minute when he made way for Jordan Remacle.  Abdurahimi created two threatening moments in the 21st and 58th minute, but both of his efforts could not get past the Club Brugge keeper.

Belgium, Proximus League, OH Leuven – Virton 1:1
Jovan Kostovski played the entire game for OH Leuven who took the initial lead in the 82nd minute directly from a free kick, but Virton equalized four minutes later to take home a point.

Austria, Tipico Bundesliga, SCR Altach – Austria Wien 1:1
Vanche Shikov started at right CB for Austria Wien and played all 90 minutes in the road draw against SCR Altach.  Both goals were scored in the opening five minutes.

Aleksandar Todorovski was an unused substitute for Sturm Graz.

Slovenia, PrvaLiga Telekom Slovenije, Maribor – Celje 1:2
Agim Ibraimi played the full match for Maribor who suffered a disappointing loss after defender Aleksander Rajčević scored two own goals to hand Celje the three points.  Ibraimi came close to scoring in the 52nd minute, but his powerful shot from the edge of the area was saved nicely by the visiting keeper.

Croatia, MAXtv Prva Liga, Zadar – Dinamo Zagreb 1:3
Arijan Ademi started in midfield for Dinamo Zagreb in a 4-3-1-2 formation and played all 90 minutes in the road triumph over Zadar.

Russia, Football National League, Krylia Sovetov – Sakhalin 5:3
Adis Jahovikj lined up as the main striker for Krylia Sovetov and played until the 82nd minute when he was substituted by Sergei Kornilenko.  Jahovikj netted a quick hat-trick in the opening 38 minutes to lead his team to a high scoring victory over Sakhalin.

Romania, Liga I, CFR Cluj – Dinamo București 2:1
Mirko Ivanovski played the entire game for CFR Cluj who needed a goal in the 83rd minute to edge Dinamo București.  Despite the win, Ivanovski will be kicking himself as he missed three quality chances in the opening 22 minutes.  He first skied an effort from a great position in the 9th minute, then missed a sitter in the 14th minute when he shot narrowly wide from close range, before striking the post in the 22nd minute.

Romania, Liga I, Viitorul – Oțelul Galați 3:0
Boban Nikolov opened on the bench for Viitorul before he was introduced in the 52nd minute to replace Cristian Daminuță.  Nikolov also received a yellow card in the 68th minute.

Romania, Liga I, CS Universitatea Craiova – Concordia 1:1
Hristijan Dragarski played all 90 minutes for Concordia in the road draw versus CS Universitatea Craiova, while his teammate Filip Timov was not among the 18 players called up.  Both teams scored their one goal via a converted penalty kick.

Switzerland, Raiffeisen Super League, Aarau – St. Gallen 0:3
Muhamed Demiri was not summoned in the matchday squad by St. Gallen due to an injury.

Ezgjan Alioski played from the start for Schaffhausen and scored the opening goal of the game in the 40th minute, while Zoran Baldovaliev came off the bench for Chiasso in the 71st minute to replace Alberto Regazzoni.

Samir Fazli started in attack for Wil and played the whole match in the heavy road defeat against Biel-Bienne.

Denmark, Superliga, Brøndby – Vestsjælland 5:0
Ferhan Hasani continues to be sidelined with an injury for Brøndby.  Hasani, though, has been cleared to begin individual training and if there are no setbacks over the next week, then Ferhan should resume practicing with the team.

Denmark, NordicBet Ligaen, Viborg – Fredericia 2:0
Aleksandar Stankov played the opening 45 minutes for Viborg before he was replaced at the halftime break by Martin Svensson, while his teammate Antonio Stankov did not feature in the team due to a yellow cards suspension.  Aleksandar scored the first goal of this game in the 16th minute which proved to be the decider.

Norway, Tippeligaen, Brann – Sarpsborg 1:2
Daniel Mojsov was not included in the Brann squad due to a yellow cards suspension.

Stefan Ashkovski remained outside of the matchday squad by Strømsgodset who has already decided that the player does not have a future with the team.  Strømsgodset declined to pick up Ashkovski’s option and Stefan will return to his parent club Partizan once his loan deal expires at the end of the season.

Netherlands, Eredivisie, NAC Breda – ADO Den Haag 1:1
Aleksandar Damchevski played all 90 minutes for NAC Breda in the first game under interim manager Eric Hellemons.  NAC Breda decided to make a coaching change after a series of bad results, so it’s positive that Damchevski remained a starter for the time being.

Australia, Hyundai A-League, Adelaide United – Melbourne Victory 1:1
Daniel Georgievski played the entire game for Melbourne Victory who needed a late equalizer to snatch a hard fought point versus Adelaide United.  Georgievski was praised for his performance by Melbourne Victory fans on social media, and that was reinforced after he was named in the team of the week.  As a reminder, Georgievski is playing left-back for his current team, not his natural position of right-back.

Bulgaria, A Group, Lokomotiv Plovdiv – Levski 1:1
Kristijan Naumovski
stayed on the bench for Levski as the #2 keeper behind Plamen Iliev.

Stefan Spirovski was an unused substitute for Beroe.

Bulgaria, A Group, Marek – Slavia 0:2
Kire Ristevski played the whole match for Slavia in central defense, while his teammate Dushan Savikj also got the start and played until the 70th minute when he was replaced by Chavdar Yankov.  Ristevski was back in the good graces of Slavia after briefly being kicked off the team earlier in the month.

Stole Dimitrievski was not summoned in the senior squad of Granada as he played for the “B” team on Sunday.

Gjoko Zajkov was not among the 18 players called up by Rennes.  Instead, Zajkov suited up for the reserve club this weekend.

United Arab Emirates, Arabian Gulf League, Al-Nasr – Al-Fujairah 5:1
Ivan Trichkovski got the start for Al-Nasr and played until the 35th minute when an injury forced him to be substituted by Fahad Hadeed.  Al-Nasr did not disclose the severity of Ivan’s injury.

Ostoja Stjepanovikj remains sidelined for Wisła Kraków with a torn ACL in his right knee.

Krste Velkoski began the game on the bench for Sarajevo before he was introduced in the 74th minute to replace Miloš Stojčev, while his teammate Riste Mitrevski was not included in the matchday squad.  Velkoski had one good chance in the 81st minute, but his effort was saved by the opposing keeper.

Filip Gligorov played all 90 minutes for Olimpic in the comfortable home victory over Drina.

Daniel Avramovski started on the bench for Crvena Zvezda before he entered the pitch in the 80th minute to subtitute Miloš Bosančić.  Three minutes earlier, Partizan scored the lone goal directly from a free kick by Nikola Drinčić.

Darko Micevski played the whole match for OFK Beograd and scored the lone goal for his team in the 26th minute.  Micevski capitalized on some bad goalkeeping from Rad to gather the ball on a rebound opportunity and then slot a shot to the back of the net.

Tome Kitanovski played the entire game for Voždovac and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet in the slim victory over Jagodina.

Muarem Muarem played from the start for Qarabağ who scored one late goal in both the 1st and 2nd half to get past Gabala.

Ardian Cuculi played all 90 minutes for Partizani and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet in the slim road win over Vllaznia.  These three points moved Partizani into a tie for first place on the table.

Czech Republic, Synot Liga, Slovan Liberec – Slovácko 2:2
Veliche Shumulikoski played all 90 minutes for Slovácko and opened the scoring in the 30th minute with a powerful shot from the edge of the area.  Slovácko then added a second goal three minutes later, but Slovan Liberec grabbed two goals in the 2nd half to salvage a point.

Hungary, OTP Bank Liga, Győr – Újpest 0:0
Enis Bardhi started in midfield for Újpest and played the complete match in the goalless draw against Győr.

Thailand, Toyota Thai Premier League, Muangthong United – Singhtarua 3:1
Mario Gjurovski was not called up by Muangthong United due to an injury.  Gjurovski will miss the remainder of the season after he had a setback with his injury.

Darko Tasevski played the entire game for Bangkok Glass in central midfield, while his teammate Bazhe Ilijoski watched from the stands as he was not included in the matchday squad.  As for Songkhla, Muzafer Ejupi played the opening 85 minutes and scored the game winning goal in the 70th minute on a tap-in from close range.

Borche Manevski did not feature for Chainat in the comfortable road victory over Samutsongkhram.

Stevica Ristikj played the whole match for Jeonnam and scored the lone goal for his team in the 80th minute on a nice header from a difficult position.
