Germany, 1.Bundesliga, Mainz – Stuttgart 3:2
Nikolche Noveski played the entire game for Mainz at his usual left CB position as the home side opened the 2013-14 German season with a home victory over Stuttgart.

Germany, 1.Bundesliga, Hannover 96 – Wolfsburg 2:0
Ferhan Hasani was not included in the squad by Wolfsburg.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, Waasland-Beveren – Mechelen 0:0
Ivan Trichkovski played all 90 minutes for Waasland-Beveren and had his best chance in the 41st minute when his header went just wide of the right goal post, while Tome Pachovski stayed on the bench for Mechelen as the #2 keeper behind Wouter Biebauw.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, Club Brugge – Zulte Waregem 1:1
Aleksandar Trajkovski started the game on the bench for Zulte Waregem before he made a late substitute appearance in the 86th minute to take the place of Thorgan Hazard.

Ukraine, Premyer-Liha, Metalist – Volyn 4:0
Vanche Shikov played the entire game for Volyn and also received a yellow card in the 25th minute.  Metalist scored two of its four goals directly from free kicks.  Shikov also had a chance from a long range free kick in the 34th minute, but his powerful shot on goal was saved by the Metalist keeper.

Ukraine, Premyer-Liha, Dnipro – Hoverla 1:0
Aleksandar Lazevski, who finally completed his transfer to Hoverla on Friday, was not included in the 18 player squad for his new team.

Romania, Liga I Bergenbier, Dinamo București – Steaua București 1:2
Daniel Georgievski played all 90 minutes at right-back for Steaua București, while Kristijan Naumovski stayed on the bench for Dinamo București as the #2 keeper behind Cristian Bălgrădean.  Georgievski had a great chance to score in the 66th minute on a rebound opportunity after a shot by one of his teammates struck the crossbar, but Daniel whiffed on his shot attempt.

Romania, Liga I Bergenbier, Astra – Universitatea Cluj 3:1
Mirko Ivanovski started for Astra and played until the 68th minute when he was replaced by Gabriel Enache.  Ivanovski added two more goals for Astra in the 5th and 68th minute, the second coming moments before he was substituted.  The first goal came on a header from close range, while the second goal came after Ivanovski rounded the keeper before scoring into an empty net.

Romania, Liga I Bergenbier, CFR Cluj – Viitorul 2:1
Boban Nikolov played the entire game for Viitorul in the slim road defeat against CFR Cluj.

Slovenia, 1. SNL, Maribor – Krka 3:0
Agim Ibraimi was given a rest by Maribor and did not feature in the 18 player squad that cruised to a comfortable home victory over newly promotes side Krka.

Italy, Coppa Italia, Crotone – Latina 2:0
Stefan Ristovski started on the bench for Latina before he entered the game in the 55th minute replacing Andrea Milani.  With the loss, Latina was eliminated from the Italian Cup.

Switzerland, Raiffeisen Super League, St. Gallen – Lausanne 2:0
Muhamed Demiri remains out with an injury for St. Gallen.

Switzerland, Challenge League, Locarno – Wil 0:3
Adis Jahovikj started in attack for Wil and played until the 83rd minute when he made way for Emra Tahirovic.  Adis led the way for Wil by scoring all three goals, the last one coming on a converted penalty kick.  After the game, with Jahovikj playing well and seeming too good for the Swiss second division, the Wil manager was asked about Adis’ future, to which he responded, “In football, things can happen fast.  However, currently there are no concrete offers for Jahovikj.”

Poland, T-Mobile Ekstraklasa, Wisła Kraków – Jagiellonia 1:1
Ostoja Stjepanovikj got the start in defensive midfield for Wisła Kraków and played the opening 45 minutes before he was replaced at the beginning of the 2nd half by Michał Nalepa.  This was the second consecutive game in which Stjepanovikj has been substituted at the halftime break.

Austria, tipp 3 Bundesliga, Admira – Sturm Graz 1:1
Aleksandar Todorovski started for Sturm Graz and played until the 28th minute when an injury forced him to be substituted by Martin Ehrenreich.  Sturm Graz suspected, and the next day’s results confirmed it, that it was a broken leg which will keep Todorovski on the sidelines for multiple months.

Austria, Erste Liga, Mattersburg – Kapfenberg 1:0
Filip Gachevski was not summoned in the Kapfenberg squad as Christoph Nicht started in goal while Paul Paiduch was on the bench as the #2 keeper.

Bulgaria, A Group, Botev Plovdiv – Lyubimets 1:2
Boban Grncharov was not called up by Botev Plovdiv as the manager gave him a rest after playing 90 minutes in a Europa League encounter this past Thursday.

Hristijan Kirovski started on the bench for CSKA Sofia before he came on at the start of the 2nd half to replace Rangel Abushev.

Dragi Kocev began the game on the bench for Pirin before he was introduced in the 63rd minute to take the place of Mario Bliznakov.

Norway, Tippeligaen, Brann – Lillestrøm 1:1
Daniel Mojsov was not included in the Brann squad due to a red card suspension.

Slovakia, Corgoň Liga, Košice – Slovan Bratislava 0:1
Darko Tofiloski played from the start for Košice and conceded one goal in the 58th minute on a header following a corner kick from the right.

Daniel Ivanovski played the entire game for Mjällby and also received a yellow card in the 50th minute.

Leonard Zhuta began the game on the bench for Häcken before he was introduced in the 69th minute to take the place of Björn Anklev.

Georgia, Umaglesi Liga, Dinamo Tbilisi – Zestafoni 2:1
Darko Glishikj started on the bench for Dinamo Tbilisi before he entered the game in the 89th minute replacing David Khurtsilava.

Netherlands, Eredivisie, NAC Breda – Heerenveen 0:2
Samir Fazli was not summoned in the matchday squad for Heerenveen.

Netherlands, Eerste Divisie, MVV Maastricht – Jong Twente 1:0
Antonio Stankov played all 90 minutes for MVV Maastricht who scored the lone goal of the game early in the 10th minute to snatch all three points against the youth team of Twente.

Thailand, Toyota Thai Premier League, Buriram United – Muangthong United 1:1
Mario Gjurovski played from the start for Muangthong United and scored the lone goal for his team in the 64th minute through a converted penalty kick.  Mario won the penalty after being fouled inside the area by an opposing defender.

Bosnia, BH Telecom Premijer Liga, Vitez – Željezničar 0:1
Yani Urdinov played the entire game for Željezničar and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet in the narrow road victory over Vitez.

Hungary, OTP Bank Liga, Lombard-Pápa – Kaposvár 1:0
Jasmin Mecinovikj was not among the 18 players called up by Lombard-Pápa.

Japan, J.League, Nagoya – Urawa 2:0
Nikola Jakimovski was an unused substitute for Nagoya.

Japan, J2 League, Gifu – Kobe 1:0
Bazhe Ilijoski got the start for Gifu and played until the 90th minute when he made way for Kayne Vincent.  Gifu scored the lone goal in the 42nd minute with a header following a corner kick.

Denmark, Superliga, Viborg – Brøndby 2:2
Aleksandar Stankov started for Viborg and played until the 79th minute when he was replaced by Markus Gustafsson.  Stankov opened his team’s account in the 43rd minute when he sent a header to the back of the net following a corner kick.  Then, moments before his substitution, Stankov, on a counter attack, passed the ball to his strike partner Thomas Dalgaard who did the rest with a good finish past the Brøndby keeper.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, Vojvodina – Donji Srem 0:0
Stefan Ashkovski made his debut for Donji Srem by getting the start and playing until the 57th minute when he was substituted by Ivan Lakicevic.  Ashkovski also received a yellow card in the 56th minute.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, Jagodina – Napredak 0:2
Dragan Stojkov was an unused substitute for Jagodina, while his teammate Predrag Rangjelovikj, who officially signed with the club in 9 August, did not make the 18 player squad.

Czech Republic, Gambrinus Liga, Příbram – Zbrojovka Brno 2:1
Zoran Danoski played the entire game for Příbram who recorded a come from behind victory with the game winner coming in the 84th minute directly from a free kick.

Azerbaijan, Topaz Premyer Liqası, Ravan – Neftçi 0:2
Igor Mitreski was an unused substitute for Neftçi.

Azerbaijan, Topaz Premyer Liqası, Khazar Lankaran – Simurq 0:0
Nikola Gligorov played all 90 minutes for Khazar Lankaran in the goalless draw against Simurq.
