Macedonian internationals performances (20-23.12.2019)

Stefan Spirovski and Jovan Kostovski scored one goal each, while Elif Elmas got close to scoring before an opponent scored an own goal.

Albania, Kategoria Superiore, Kukësi – Skënderbeu 1:1
Right back Edis Malikji played the entire match for the hosts, as did Artim Polozhani for the visitors whereas his teammate Agon Elezi remained an unused substitute. Tome Kitanovski was once again not in Kukësi’s squad as he left Albania after the severe earthquakes.

Egzon Belica played another full game for Partizani, while his teammate Besnik Ferati did not get any playing time in this match. For the opponents, Filip Gligorov also played the 90 minutes while Aleksandar Ristevski remained on the bench.

Albania, Kategoria Superiore, Flamurtari – Teuta 1:3
Blagoja Todorovski as usual started at right-back for Teuta and played all minutes, while his teammate Bobi Celeski didn’t play.

Australia, Hyundai A-League, Western Sydney Wanderers – Western United 1:1
As usual, right back Daniel Georgievski played another full match for the Wanderers, this time in the encounter against Western United.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, Mouscron – Charleroi 1:1
Gjoko Zajkov did not make the bench for Charleroi.

Cyprus, Protáthlima Cyta, Omonia – AEK 3:2
Daniel Mojsov played the whole match for the visiting side and was shown a yellow card, while his teammate Ivan Trichkovski played 60 minutes before he was taken off.

Davor Zdravkovski played the whole match for the winning side, while his teammate Kire Markoski was brought on in the 80th minute.

Martin Bogatinov was between the posts for the home team, Bojan Markoski remained on the bench, while Jovan Kostovski also played the whole match and scored the only goal for the hosts. For the away team, Dushko Trajchevski also played the whole match.

Risto Mitrevski was not in the matchday squad for the away team.

England, Championship, Fulham – Leeds United 2:1
Ezgjan Alioski started the match on the bench but was called into action quickly as his teammate Pablo Hernandez suffered an injury in the 3rd minute. Alioski actually took part in his side goal as he played Nketiah forward and his strike could only be parried by the opposing keeper and Bamford was on hand to slot home the rebound. This was Leeds first defeat after more than 2 and a half months.

France, Ligue 1, Marseille – Nîmes 3:1
Vlatko Stojanovski remained on the bench for the away team and was not given a chance to build upon his goal scored during midweek’s Coupe de la Ligue match against St. Etienne.

Israel, Gvia HaMedina, Hapoel Tel-Aviv – Hapoel Katamon 2:0 AET
Stefan Spirovski secured his team’s win and placement in the 1/8-finals of the Cup with a goal in the 107th minute. The match was scoreless after 90 minutes and Hapoel Tel-Aviv scored two goals in the extra time.

Goran Pandev missed the match because of suspension. With this match his two match red card ban is over and he will be back in action next round.

Italy, Serie A, Sassuolo – Napoli 1:2
Napoli celebrates Elif Elmas. He entered the match in the 70th minute when his team needed a goal and Gattuso made the right decision. In the 94th minute Elmas was involved in the winning goal for Napoli and after the match the officials of Serie A ruled it as an own goal by Pedro Obiang, but still Naples celebrates Elmas as their hero. Watching it live, it looked like Elmas got the final touch for sure. But, the replays (when it was slowed down) showed Obiang making the final touch, so it was the right decision.

Ilija Nestorovski didn’t get the chance from Udinese’s substitute bench.

Italy, Serie B, Pescara – Trapani 1:1
Nikola Jakimovski was unused substitute for Trapani.

Romania, Liga I Betano, Botoșani – Dinamo 1:0
Stefan Ashkovski was in the starting lineup and played until the 90th minute when was replaced by Alexandru George who scored the winning goal few seconds later.

Marko Simonovski wasn’t included in Voluntari’s matchday squad.

Spain, Primera División, Levante – Celta 3:1
Enis Bardhi spent all minutes on the pitch for Levante and was shown a yellow card in the 47th minute.

Spain, Primera División, Mallorca – Sevilla 0:2
Aleksandar Trajkovski didn’t make Mallorca’s matchday squad.

Spain, Segunda División, Las Palmas – Rayo Vallecano 1:1
Stole Dimitrievski was Rayo’s starting goalkeeper and conceded one goal in his team’s road draw.

Turkey, Süper Lig, Yeni Malatyaspor – Rizespor 0:2
Adis Jahovikj played the entire match for Malatyaspor.

Turkey, Süper Lig, Konyaspor – Trabzonspor 0:1
Erdon Daci came in from the bench in the 61st minute instead of Riad Bajić and could not help his team find an equalizer.

Turkey, 1.Lig, Belediyespor – Bursaspor 2:1
Jani Atanasov was unused substitute for Bursaspor.
