Mario Gjurovski successfully converted a Panenka penalty.

Mario Gjurovski with his Muangthong United played a match in Asian Champions League against South Korean side Jeonbuk Motors. Muangthong were down by 1, when referee Alireza Faghani whistled a penalty kick for home team after Teerasil Dangda was fouled in the box.

Mario Gjurovski took the responsibility to shoot from the spot and made no mistake. Gjurovski converted the penalty into goal sending the ball in the famous Panenka style, worldwide known thanks to the former Czech footballer Antonín Panenka.

The match went on to finish 2:2 and Gjurovski played the whole 90 minutes. This was Muangthong’s first match in Asian Champions League, group F. Their next match is on 12th of March when they visit Japanese side Urawa Reds.
