Macedonian internationals performances

Muhamed Demiri (black jersey) in action for Thun; photo: gcz.chBoban Grncarov received a red card for pulling the hair of Standard Liège defender Felipe, Petar Milosevski kept a clean sheet for Enosis, while a couple of games involving Macedonian internationals were postponed due to the freezing temperatures across Europe.

Italy, Serie A, Milan – Napoli 0:0
Goran Pandev started on the bench for Napoli before he entered the game in the 81st minute replacing Salvatore Aronica.  Pandev did not have a chance during his time on the field as Napoli and Milan shared the points with a goalless draw.

Germany, 1. Bundesliga, Schalke 04 – Mainz 05 1:1
Nikolce Noveski played the entire game for Mainz who collected a point in the tough road encounter against Schalke 04.  Noveski made a good clearance in the 68th minute on a dangerous, low cross and sent the ball over the goal for a corner.

Germany, 1. Bundesliga, Wolfsburg – Borussia Mönchengladbach 0:0
Ferhan Hasani was not called up by Wolfsburg.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, Club Brugge – Beerschot 5:1
Tome Pacovski played from the start for Beerschot and conceded five goals in the heavy road defeat against Club Brugge.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, Lierse – Standard Liège 0:2
Boban Grncarov started for Lierse and played until the 88th minute when he received a straight red card for an incident in which Boban pulled the hair of Standard Liège defender Felipe.  Both players were shown red cards as Felipe pushed Grncarov and was irate while leaving the pitch.

Aleksandar Trajkovski was an unused substitute for Zulte Waregem.

Cyprus, Marfin Laiki League, AEL Limassol – APOEL 0:0
Ivan Trickovski played all 90 minutes for APOEL who has not scored a goal in their three meetings against AEL Limassol this season (two in league play and one in the domestic cup).  After an early mistake, Trickovski had a good chance in the 3rd minute but his shot was saved by the opposing keeper.  Ivan had another effort in the 70th minute but his header went wide of the goal.

Cyprus, Marfin Laiki League, Ethnikos Achnas – Apollon 0:1
Edin Nuredinoski played from the start for Ethnikos Achnas and conceded one goal in the 90th minute from a close range header while his teammate Stojan Ignjatov started the game on the bench before he came on at the start of the 2nd half replacing Sasa Stojanović.  For Apollon, Hristijan Kirovski was not called up due to a yellow cards suspension.

Cyprus, Marfin Laiki League, Enosis – AEK Larnaca 1:0
Both Petar Milosevski and Bojan Markoski played the entire game for Enosis who clinched a minimal home victory over AEK Larnaca.  Milosevski kept a clean sheet for the home side while Markoski also contributed to that feat in the centre of the Enosis defense.

Switzerland, Axpo Super League, Grasshopper – Thun 0:1
Muhamed Demiri started in midfield for Thun and played all 90 minutes as his team resumed the second half of the season with a narrow road victory over Grasshopper.  The lone goal of the game was scored just before halftime by attacker Marco Schneuwly.

Greece, Superleague Greece, Kerkyra – PAS Giannina 1:2
Goran Maznov was not called up by Kerkyra.

Greece, Superleague Greece, Skoda Xanthi – Aris 0:2
Marjan Altiparmakovski was not among the 20 summoned players by Skoda Xanthi for this game.

* Postponed games, due to inclement weather, affected Stefan Ristovski (Frosinone), Dzelil Abdula (De Graafschap), and the Stankov twins Aleksandar and Antonio (Oss).
