Boban Grncarov (#5) scores the opening goal for Lierse; photo: standaard.beBoban Grncarov scored a goal for Lierse, Tome Pacovski kept another clean sheet for Beerschot, while Nikolce Noveski and Mainz secured an important win to move up in the standings.

Italy, Serie A, Genoa – Napoli 3:2
Goran Pandev started for Napoli and played until the 73rd minute when he was replaced by Eduardo Vargas.  Pandev had a couple of chances in the 1st half but his header in the 8th minute went wide of the goal while his shot in the 17th minute lacked power and did not threaten the Genoa keeper Sébastien Frey.

Italy, Serie B, Juve Stabia – Crotone 2:2
Stefan Ristovski was not called up by Crotone who played their first game under caretaker manager Massimo Drago.  He took over the club from the relieved Leonardo Menichini.

Germany, 1. Bundesliga, Mainz 05 – Freiburg 3:1
Nikolce Noveski played the entire game for Mainz and also received a yellow card in the 59th minute.  Mainz recorded a much needed victory to move three points clear of the relegation zone. 

Germany, 1. Bundesliga, Bayern München – Wolfsburg 2:0
Ferhan Hasani was not included in the Wolfsburg squad for the match against Bayern München.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, Beerschot – Anderlecht 0:0
Tome Pacovski played from the start for Beerschot and kept a clean sheet.  Pacovski made his best save several minutes before halftime when he denied Milan Jovanović.  Tome also made important interventions in the 2nd half to help his side collect a hard fought point against Anderlecht.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, Westerlo – Lierse 0:2
Boban Grncarov played all 90 minutes for Lierse and scored the opening goal of the game in the 29th minute.  Boban’s goal came on a header following a corner kick in which the Westerlo keeper got a touch on the ball but could not keep it out from reaching the back of the net.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, Kortrijk – Zulte Waregem 0:0
Aleksandar Trajkovski was an unused substitute for Zulte Waregem for the third consecutive game.

Cyprus, Marfin Laiki League, APOEL – Apollon 2:1
Ivan Trickovski played the entire game for APOEL who needed a goal in the second minute of stoppage time to collect the minimal victory over Apollon.  Trickovski attempted several shots towards goal but came closest in the 40th minute when his effort was saved by the opposing keeper before going for a corner.  As for Apollon, Hristijan Kirovski started on the bench before he entered the game in the 73rd minute replacing fellow striker João Paulo.  Kirovski was also booked in the 79th minute and will miss the next game for Apollon due to a yellow cards suspension.

Cyprus, Marfin Laiki League, Olympiacos Nicosia – Ethnikos Achnas 1:1
Edin Nuredinoski played from the start for Ethnikos Achnas and conceded one goal in the 82nd minute while his teammate Stojan Ignjatov also got the start and played until the 63rd minute when he was replaced by Ivan Babić.

Cyprus, Marfin Laiki League, Anorthosis – Alki 0:0
Nikola Gligorov played all 90 minutes for Alki who recorded a hard fought point in the goalless draw against Anorthosis on the road.

Bojan Markoski played the entire game for Enosis and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet while Petar Milosevski was an unused substitute as he was the #2 keeper behind Georgi Petkov.

Greece, Superleague Greece, Panionios – Kerkyra 2:0
Goran Maznov was not called up by Kerkyra.

Greece, Superleague Greece, OFI Crete – Skoda Xanthi 1:0
Marjan Altiparmakovski was among the 20 summoned players by Skoda Xanthi for this game but did not make the final 18 list for the visitors.

Netherlands, Eredivisie, NAC Breda – De Graafschap 1:1
Dzelil Abdula was not called up by De Graafschap.

Netherlands, Eerste Divisie, Oss – Cambuur 3:2
Aleksandar Stankov started on the bench for Oss before he entered the game in the 68th minute replacing Kevin Huijsman while his twin brother, Antonio Stankov, did not make the final 18 list for the home side.  Oss scored the game winner in stoppage time to clinch the narrow victory.
