Macedonian internationals performances

Aleksandar Lazevski Martin Bogatinov was praised for his performance as he kept a clean sheet for Karpaty,  Aleksandar Lazevski sustained an injury for Partizan who defeated Crvena Zvezda in the big Serbian derby, while Agim Ibraimi had an assist as his team Nafta Lendava picked up a much needed victory.

Italy, Serie A, Inter – Lazio 2:1
Goran Pandev was an unused substitute for Inter who fell behind in the 24th minute when keeper Julio Cesar was given a straight red card for fouling Mauro Zarate inside the area and Lazio converted their penalty to take the 1:0 lead.  Inter bounced back and showed good fighting spirit by scoring two goals in the 40th and 53rd minute with a man down to take the 2:1 lead and they would never look back as Inter held on to record a narrow victory.  Lazio also finished the game with ten men when Stefano Mauri was given a red card in the 66th minute for kicking Inter LB Yuto Nagatomo.

Germany, 1.Bundesliga, Nürnberg – Mainz 05 0:0

Nikolce Noveski returned for Mainz after serving a one game red card suspension and regained his place at left CB where he played all 90 minutes and helped his team hold a clean sheet in a very important game.  Both of these teams are battling for 5th place which leads to a place in the Europa League so Mainz will be pleased with the draw which keeps them two points ahead of Nürnberg for 5th place on the table with only three league games remaining until the end of the season.

Germany, 1.Bundesliga, Eintracht Frankfurt – Bayern München 1:1
Both Aleksandar Vasoski and Oka Nikolov were unused substitutes for Eintracht Frankfurt who almost pulled off a shocking win against Bayern München.  Eintracht took the lead in the 54th minute thanks to a goal by Sebastian Rode but Bayern was then awarded a questionable penalty in the 89th minute which was converted by Mario Gomez so both teams had to settle for a point.

Ukraine, Premyer-Liha, Arsenal Kyiv – Dynamo Kyiv 0:3
Goran Popov started at LB for Dynamo Kyiv and played the entire game as his team picked up a comfortable victory away to Arsenal Kyiv.

Ukraine, Premyer-Liha, Karpaty – Tavria 1:0
Martin Bogatinov played from the start for Karpaty and kept a clean sheet as his performance was praised by the Karpaty supporters.  Bogatinov showed good awareness in the 1st minute when he left his goal to clear the danger before an opposing player could reach the ball.  Bogatinov had to make his first save in the 23rd minute when he made a comfortable save on a header from close range.  Bogatinov then made an important save in the 47th minute when a visiting player found some space in the box before he attempted a shot but Bogatinov was alert and made the save which was then cleared by a Karpaty defender and it went for a corner.  Bogatinov made his best save in the 82nd minute when he made himself big and saved a shot from close range by Tavria striker Maksym Feshchuk.  Bogatinov made another save in the 88th minute when he got his hands on a header following a cross and punched the ball away for a corner.  The Karpaty supporters named Bogatinov and the goal scorer Artem Fedetskiy as the top players in the game.

Ukraine, Premyer-Liha, Zorya – Metalurh Donetsk 0:2
Mario Gjurovski was an unused substitute for Metalurh Donetsk.

Ukraine, Premyer-Liha, Sevastopol – Illichivets 1:0
Besart Ibraimi started on the bench for Sevastopol before he entered the game in the 62nd minute replacing Andriy Shevchuk.  Ibraimi created some space in the 67th minute before he turned nicely but his shot was over the goal.  With the win, Sevastopol escaped the relegation zone as they leapfrogged two teams including today’s opponents and they are now in 13th place out of 16 teams in Ukraine.

Russia, Premier-Liga, Rubin – Amkar 1:1
Stevica Ristić played all 90 minutes for Amkar and had two great chances for his team but he missed both times.  The first chance for Ristić came in the 1st minute when he was put through on goal by one of his teammates and Ristić did well to reach the ball but his shot from a good position hit the post.  Georgi Peev should have scored on the rebound as the keeper was out of position but Peev attempted a weak shot and the Rubin keeper recovered and saved the shot.  Ristić should have given Amkar the lead in the 79th minute when Peev made an enticing cross from the left and somehow the ball reached Ristić who attempted to score with his chest from close range but the Rubin keeper denied Ristić and it went for a corner.  Ristić could not believe he missed and laid on the ground for a couple of seconds in disbelief.

Austria, T-Mobile Bundesliga, Mattersburg – LASK Linz 1:1
Ilco Naumoski started for Mattersburg and played until the 79th minute when he was replaced by Christian Gartner.  Naumoski was pretty active in the 1st half and was a constant threat for the opposing defense.  It all started in the 6th minute when Naumoski set up his teammate Patrick Bürger perfectly with a nice cross but Bürger’s volley from close range was saved by the visiting keeper.  Two minutes later, Naumoski showed some nice skill with a clever backheel pass to Ronald Spuller who was through on goal but his shot was again saved by the impressive LASK Linz keeper.  Naumoski then almost scored in the 33rd minute when his header following a corner kick beat the keeper but a LASK Linz player cleared the ball before it crossed the line.  Naumoski wasn’t as active in the 2nd half but he made a nice cross from a free kick in the 72nd minute which reached Bosnian Nedeljko Malić whose powerful header was saved by the opposing keeper and it went for a corner.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, Westerlo – Germinal Beerschot 1:0
Tome Pacovski played from the start for Germinal Beerschot and conceded one goal in the 7th minute.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, Partizan – Crvena Zvezda 1:0
Aleksandar Lazevski started for Partizan and played until the 74th minute when he picked up an injury and had to be substituted by Marko Jovanović.  Lazevski combined nicely with Ivica Iliev in the 35th minute and then Lazevski made a nice pass from the left to Stefan Babović whose shot from a good position was just wide of the goal.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, OFK Beograd – Vojvodina 1:0
Daniel Mojsov played the entire game for Vojvodina and also picked up a yellow card in the 6th minute.  This loss put an end to Vojvodina’s perfect start to the 2nd half of the season as the home side scored the only goal of the game in the 31st minute after an error by the RB of Vojvodina.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, Sevojno – Jagodina 2:0
Gjorgi Tanusev was an unused substitute for Sevojno while Dragan Stojkov began the game on the bench for Jagodina before he came on in the 70th minute replacing Srđan Novković.

Stefan Spirovski started on the bench for Borac Čačak before he entered the game in the 87th minute replacing Marko Krasić.

Filip Petrov was an unused substitute for Javor.

Bulgaria, A PFG, Beroe – Levski 2:3
Darko Tasevski started on the bench for Levski before he entered the game in the 78th minute replacing Daniel Mladenov.  Tasevski immediately became a threat and attempted a shot after a cross by Hristo Yovov but his effort was wide of the goal.

Czech Republic, 1. Gambrinus liga, Bohemians 1905 – Mladá Boleslav 3:1
Vladimir Dimitrovski started at left CB for Mladá Boleslav and played all 90 minutes as his team conceded three goals and lost their second consecutive league game.

Ilija Nestorovski was an unused substitute for Slovácko.

Zlatko Tanevski was an unused substitute for GKS Bełchatów.

Poland, Ekstraklasa, Polonia Warszawa – Arka Gdynia 4:0
Mirko Ivanovski started on the bench for Arka Gdynia before he entered the game in the 52nd minute replacing Rafał Siemaszko.  Arka suffered a convincing loss and remains in a tough position on the table as they are second from bottom with seven league games remaining in the Polish top division.

Dejan Miloseski did not play for Górnik Łęczna.

Croatia, T-Com Prva HNL, Rijeka – Istra 1961 2:0
Armend Alimi started for Istra 1961 and played until the 72nd minute when he was replaced by Goran Roce.  Alimi made a nice run in the 2nd minute from the right before his dangerous cross reached Asim Šehić whose header was wide of the goal.  Alimi came close to scoring in the 45th minute when he took a free kick that went just inches wide of the right goal post.

Croatia, T-Com Prva HNL, Zadar – Inter Zaprešić 1:0
Neither Aleksandar Trajkovski nor Goran Todorcev were among the 18 players called up by Inter Zaprešić.

Daniel Georgievski
started on the bench for Šibenik before he entered the game in the 82nd minute replacing Hrvoje Spahija.

Slovenia, 1. SNL, Primorje – Nafta Lendava 1:4
Agim Ibraimi played the entire game for Nafta Lendava and provided the assist on the third goal for his team.  Nafta Lendava got a much needed victory against the last placed team in Slovenia as they have been in terrible form in the second half of the season.

Slovenia, 1. SNL, Maribor – Rudar Velenje 2:1
Dragan Cadikovski played all 90 minutes for Rudar Velenje.

Slovakia, Corgoň Liga, Senica – Košice 1:1
Darko Tofiloski played from the start for Košice and conceded one goal in the 20th minute.  This was a good result for Košice since they picked up an important point against the current leaders in Slovakia as Tofiloski also picked up a yellow card in the 86th minute.

Azerbaijan, Unibank Premyer Liqası, Neftçi – FK Bakı 2:0
Both Igor Mitreski
and Slavco Georgievski played the entire game for Neftçi who continue to get closer to clinching the title in Azerbaijan.

Filip Despotovski
started for Inter Bakı and played the 1st half before he was substituted at the start of the 2nd half by Bronislav Červenka while Nderim Nedzipi also got the start for his team Qarabağ and played until the 66th minute when he was replaced by Rauf Aliyev.

played all 90 minutes for AZAL.

Bosnia and Herzegovina, Premijer Liga, Željezničar – Velež 3:2
Perica Stanceski started on the bench for Željezničar before he entered the game in the 54th minute replacing Milan Ćulum while Goran Gancev played the entire game for Velež.  Both Stanceski and Gancev also picked up yellow cards during the game as Velež had a 2:0 lead but the home team scored three goals in the 71st, 77th, and 78th minute to record the victory.

Moldova, Divizia Naţională, Dacia – Academia 2:0
Goran Dimovski played the entire game for Dacia and made a good cross from the right early in the game which reached one of his teammates whose shot was just wide of the goal from close range.  Dacia remain at the top of the table in Moldova as they have a four points advantage over 2nd place Sheriff.

Moldova, Divizia Naţională, Sheriff – CSCA-Rapid Chişinău 2:1
Jasmin Mecinovic played all 90 minutes for Sheriff who were made to work and needed a goal from Dalibor Volaš in the 90th minute to record the victory against the visiting side from the city of Chişinău.

Sweden, Allsvenskan, Mjällby – GAIS 1:1
Daniel Ivanovski did not play for Mjällby because of a red card suspension.

Netherlands, Eredivisie, VVV-Venlo – Heerenveen 2:2
Samir Fazli was an unused substitute for Heerenveen.

Netherlands, Eredivisie, Roda – NAC Breda 5:1
Neither Yani Urdinov nor the Stankov twins, Aleksandar and Antonio, were called up by Roda.

Hungary, Monicomp Liga, Vasas – Debrecen 1:5
Mirsad Mijadinoski did not play for Debrecen because of a red card suspension.

Bobi Bozinovski was not among the 18 players called up by Lokomotiv Astana.

Ostoja Stjepanovic started on the bench for Taraz before he entered the game in the 80th minute replacing Azat Yersalimov.  Stjepanovic scored the third goal for his team in the 88th minute from a penalty.

Jovan Kostovski started on the bench for Orduspor before he entered the game in the 57th minute replacing Ahmet Kuru while his teammate Muarem Muarem was not called up.

Oliver Peev began the game on the bench for Boluspor before he came on in the 54th minute replacing Burak Akdiş.  Peev also picked up a yellow card in the 70th minute.
