Teteks failed to beat Ohrid and disappointed its fans by only playing a goalless draw at home, while Horizont Turnovo managed to defeat Napredok and reduce the deficit to five points between itself and the eight position on the table.  The goalless draw in Tetovo ensured that Teteks and Ohrid are still level on points.  Ohrid played with 10 men after the 85th minute when Aleksandar Martinovski was shown a red card, but Teteks was unable to reach the back of the net.

As expected, Rabotnichki, for their game against Metalurg, played many of its younger players in order to keep the regulars fresh for the upcoming Macedonian Cup final against Renova which will be played this upcoming Wednesday.  Metalurg had no problems in today’s game and won 0:3 on the road thanks to a brace from Dragan Nacevski and one goal by Cvetan Churlinov.  With the win, Metalurg kept its one point edge over Shkendija to remain in second place on the table.

The table leaders Vardar did not look convincing away to last placed 11 Oktomvri but managed to claim three points thanks to an own goal by defender Stefan Ivanovski in the 22th minute   That was all the scoring but Vardar moved one step closer to clinching the league title with the season winding down, and still having a double digit advantage over the closest teams on the standings.

The defending league champions Shkendija celebrated a 1:4 road win over Sileks in Kratovo, despite Sileks scoring the opening goal in the 23rd minute.  However, it was all Shkendija after that point as the visitors scored three goals in the final 15 minutes of the first half to take a 1:3 lead at the break, and than added another goal late in the 86th minute to complete the scoreline.  Also, in the second half, Sileks went down to 10 men in the 55th minute when Saša Vasov received a red card (his second of the season), which made it that much more difficult for Sileks to get back into the game.

In the other game that was played in Tetovo earlier in the day, Renova and Bregalnica Shtip shared the points in a 2:2 draw.  Bregalnica came close to taking home the three points but Dushan Simovski scored the equalizer for Renova nine minutes from time to snatch a point.  Renova will now focus on the domestic cup final against Rabotnichki on Wednesday.
