Macedonian First League – Round 2

altFour matches of the second round from the first football league took place today.

Metalurg celebrated a win over local rivals Skopje with goals scored by new signing Kleckaroski in the first half and Krstev’s head goal in the second. Kostencoski added another towards the end of match setting the final score of 3:0 and a huge win for Metalurg. Skopje finished the match without their coach Ljupco Markovski “Kalc” who got a red card in the 60th minute because of unprofessional behavior. 

Bregalnica’s first game in the first league after longer time gathered more then 3.000 people on the Gradski stadium in Stip. And, fans returned home happy, after their team won 2:1 with the goals scored by the captain Novakov in the middle of the first half and in the 77th minute from the 11 meters spot after Nikitović fouled Mandak inside the box. Both teams had many chances, but home advantage proved to be decisive in this match. Shkendija’s only goal was scored by youngster Nafiu after Alcinov made a mistake after trying to dribble inside the box and lost the ball.

Champions Renova, although favorites against Turnovo, in Tetovo failed to score a goal and both teams shared the points.

When everybody expected full time with no goals in Kratovo, Andonov created and Temelkov scored a goal in the dying minutes for Sileks, leaving Vardar fans empty-handed.
