Champions Shkendija opened the season with a defeat in Turnovo, Vardar celebrated in Prilep.

The 20th season is under way. Under hot weather, 5 matches kicked-off today. In the most interesting match of the round, 11 Oktomvri hosted Vardar. The newcomer in the First League did not have enough power to stop reconstructed Vardar and Filip Ivanovski’s goal in 65th minute brought Vardar 3 points. Champions Shkendija did not have the best start as they were defeated in Turnovo where the home team won 2:1. As expected, Metalurg and Renova won against Teteks and Ohrid respectively with the same result of 2:0. Napredok also celebrated a win at home against Sileks with Markoski’s goal in 68th minute.
