Aleksandar Lazevski finally recovered from his injury for Partizan and even scored a goal during yesterday’s friendly.
Lazevski finally recovered from his nagging injury and was given the start by the Partizan manager in their friendly game against Teleoptik. It was a match of 30+25 minutes as Partizan used some match practice to get prepared for the return leg of their Champions League encounter against Genk. Lazevski played all 55 minutes for Partizan and even scored the fourth and final goal for his team in the 53rd minute as Partizan recorded a 4:0 victory. Lazevski started in his natural LB position as he needs the minutes to slowly build up his fitness levels. Lazevski was included by Boban Babunski to the Macedonian national team for the friendly against Azerbaijan on 10 August.
For Teleoptik, Stefan Askovski played from the start as Stefan also plays as a LB. Askovski was born in 1992 and is a member of the Macedonian U19 national team. Askovski used to play for the Metalurg youth system before he joined Partizan. Keep in mind that Teleoptik is a club where Partizan sends many of its youngsters to gain experience. Askovski is still owned by Partizan but he is at Teleoptik in order to play regularly so he can continue to develop as a player.
